Stay tuned! We'll show you how our irrigation and fertigation system work soon. The small tank will be used to mix our nutrient solution which we'll supply to feed our plants through the drip irrigation system.

Fertigation is a system where you mix nutrient rich solution with water and feed plants through irrigation system.

We are working on 100% feeding program. Those farmers under our program will start growing their plants organically with this kind of setup.

This is ! We provided technical support to assist Marslily Agro Camp in producing it at Magagarape some few years ago. Now they've grown into processing it together with many other veges. Great move, right?

Garlic is cool season plant, thriving well during winter conditions. It's also one of those lucrative vegetable you can produce provided you can get the market. Easy to produce and require low maintenance just like Onion.

Good thing about it is it's shelf life, keeping it for 6 months after harvest is simple.

Make sure you follow them on their page to learn from them and support.

10kg bag of fresh garlic can simply sell for P1000. Quarter of a hectare can give you a yield of +10 tonnes (10,000 kgs).

Acquiring seeds may be expensive but that's nothing compared to the returns.

Throwback to 2021. Cabbage is one thing I know but it is also one thing I'll only advice start-up farmer to do it if they have enough resources technical support to take care of it.

Winter is the best cabbage season by the way but be careful, market might be your biggest challenge once it's ready.

We are here to guide you and assist you plan in advance for this horticulture business.

At Malotwane and most of farms we worked with, we advice farmers to raise their tanks like this: +3m high

This will give you enough pressure to irrigate atleast 1 hectare with a system.

We also divide our portions into 25m by 50m long, giving us 8 portions per hectare. This way water can reach all ends of the field without fail.

The base (unfinished) you see there will be for the tank. We do this to make it easy to feed our plants through water (fertigating) as we irrigate. This makes it easy and require very minimum and cheap labor to feed your plants especially on bigger scales.

It may seem like a high cost now but it saves you a lot of money going forward.

If you follow our update on irrigation projects, you'll notice these raised tanks a lot.
