Morupule Coal Mine is investing P1.8 million to refurbish and improve the Accidents and Emergency Area at Palapye Primary Hospital as part of its Corporate Social Investment programme.
The project is being delivered through the CEOโs Annual Charity Cycle Challenge, which has previously funded a P300,000 solar project at the Cheshire Foundation Home in Palapye and contributed towards a P560,000 home under the Bonno Housing Programme.
Speaking during the event, MCM CEO, Edwin Elias highlighted that, โThis project reflects our commitment to supporting essential healthcare infrastructure and creating a better environment for patients, healthcare workers and the wider community. โ
He added that, โThese initiatives remind us that the success of this Challenge is not simply about who crosses the finish line first. It is about the lives we touch, the communities we strengthen and the lasting value we create together. โ
