VENDOR EXPERT
A full scale manufacturing company Vendor Expert, is a SPEDU facilitated projects that is producing premium quality medical grade surgical PPE. Currently they are manufacturing surgical masks. This company is based in Selebi Phikwe industrial site and is ready to fly high.
Established in 2021 just after the ravaging COVID 19 pandemic Vendor Expert, set up shop to manufacture surgical masks and other line products. The Technical Director of Vendor Expert Mrs. Emang Eddin Ramasankate says their journey began with SPEDU who assisted them in setting up and acquiring the relevant accreditations and certification.
Although their journey has not been a walk in the park, Vendor Expert is optimistic of their growth and contribution to the economy of Botswana. " The 30 percent Government off take offered by Government translates into money for us and will give us wings, to seek markets elsewhere."
The Technical Director appealed to Batswana to support manufacturers by purchasing and using local products, in order for local producers to grow.
Vendor Export's has a staff compliment of nine, and the staff compliment will increase once the manufacturing company is in its full production capacity.
Ramasakate is optimistic that with the support from local market, Vendor Expert will "set its feet and spread its wings".They pride themselves as part of a beautiful journey that will see them representing Botswana competing in the international arena, and enable job creation.
Vendor Expert is exploring to diversify into other similar product lines, since they have the capacity to meet local market for surgical masks.
