BTEP PRIVACY ISSUES. YOUR IDEAS ARE PROTECTED.
There is concern regarding the protection of intellectual property and privacy issues.
The Botswana Government wants to assure all those who submit projects that:
- All submissions remain the intellectual property of the proposer, unless agreed otherwise.
- Submissions are treated with strict confidentiality under the Botswana Data Protection Act.
- If shortlisted, you will be directly involved in the co-development process during the Labs.
- All Lab participants will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
- Additional agreements may be considered based on the nature of the idea.
- We also encourage you to take personal IP protection steps (e.g. trademarks, patents) prior to submission.
