Belizeans are once again facing frustrating and disruptive power outages across the country. Businesses suffer, families are inconvenienced, food spoils, productivity is affected—and once again, politicians are busy blaming each other.

Belizean people deserve more than excuses.
What happened to the reported $77 million allocated or associated with electricity and energy projects?
The Belizean people deserve a clear, transparent explanation of where the money went, what projects were completed, and why our national electricity system remains so vulnerable.

Yes, questions must be asked about decisions made under the former UDP administration, including the failure to properly address critical energy infrastructure.
But the PUP administration has now had more than six years in government.

Why was this issue not adequately addressed? Why were long-term solutions not implemented to protect Belizeans from the electricity problems we are experiencing today?

Belize is a country blessed with tremendous natural resources and renewable energy potential—including sun, wind, water and biomass.

With a population of just over 600,000 people, why are we still struggling to build and maintain a reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity system?

This is bigger than UDP versus PUP.
This is about decades of poor planning, weak accountability and a failure of leadership.
The Belizean people should not have to suffer because successive governments failed to properly plan for the country's energy future.

The question remains:
👉 WHO IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY?
👉 WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?
👉 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY—WHEN WILL BELIZE GET A REAL, LONG-TERM SOLUTION?

Enough of the political blame game.
Belizeans deserve answers. Belizeans deserve accountability. And Belizeans deserve reliable electricity.

WHAT IS THE BELIZE PEOPLE’S FRONT?
The Belize People’s Front (BPF) describes itself as a progressive centre-left political movement seeking a different approach to governance in Belize.

The BPF argues that Belize's political discussion should move beyond simply choosing between the two traditional parties.
Its central question is:
How can Belize build stronger institutions and a government culture centered on transparency, accountability, opportunity, and the public interest?
The BPF therefore presents itself not simply as another political party seeking government, but as a movement advocating changes in how government is governed and how citizens participate in democracy.

The Briceño administration is facing growing public scrutiny over the proposed $80 million acquisition of Speednet by BTL while Belizeans continue to struggle with the rising cost of living, limited job opportunities, and economic uncertainty.

At the same time, serious questions continue to surround the Ministry of Defence, where allegations and concerns over public accountability have shaken public confidence.
The Belize People's Front (BPF) believes that every taxpayer dollar should be invested where it creates the greatest benefit for the people.

Imagine what $80 million could do if invested in Belizeans instead:
✅ Build agro-processing industries that add value to our farmers' products.
✅ Establish manufacturing plants to reduce imports and create quality jobs.

Many of you may not know this about me: I am a certified skilled massage therapist with over 14 years of professional experience, including hands-on work in physiotherapy support and rehabilitation care. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for many patients across Belize and now mainly in Corozal and Orange Walk districts. My goals are helping people manage pain, recover mobility, reduce stress, tension built up, and improve overall quality of life.
My work has always been grounded in one principle: Care with intention for betterment. Every body is different, every condition deserves attention, and healing works best when it’s personal.
Around the end of the first quarter of 2026, I intend to officially open "501 Wellness & Body Care" in the Corozal District with the intentions of assisting much needed patients in the area. I look forward to sharing more of this journey with you.
