While the home is currently being built off-site by Plett’s Prefab Homes, it’s exciting to see how far this project has come. The structure, exterior finishes, flooring, drywall, and cabinetry are all coming together, and the home will soon be shipped to its final location for installation.

Building in Belize takes planning, coordination, and teamwork, and we’re proud to help guide the process from site preparation through delivery and installation.

PROJECT UPDATE 🌴🏠

We received quite a bit of rain recently, which provided a great opportunity to see how this lot is responding as the landfill work progresses.

The fill is already helping improve site conditions and raise the elevation of this future home site. While there is still work to do, the difference is already noticeable.

Step by step, we’re helping prepare this lot for construction.

• “Will I need to add more fill after it settles?”
• “Is it going to run into the next lot?”
• “What if I’m not in Belize — can anything happen to it?”

Here’s a real example — this lot was filled April 2025, and this video was taken last week.

A year later:

✔ The fill is still in place
✔ It has compacted and gotten stronger over time
✔ No washout into neighboring land
✔ No flooding issues
✔ No extra fill needed

When landfill is done properly from the start, it holds.
