I base my education and actions on empirical evidence and best practices. During this pandemic, here are some evidence based and best practice articles related to what the Coronavirus is and how you (to the individual) can mitigate its impact. While signs and symptoms may “only be the flu”, the rate of spread, longevity of illness, impact to community, and long-term effects are not “just the flu”
I’ll be clear, I’m not panicking; I’m being educated by credible sources and doing my part (based on evidence) to mitigate.

Language matters. Just as the right kind of language can help convey acceptance and understanding when talking about mental health problems and mental illnesses, the wrong kind can add to the stigma and rejection people with mental illness so often encounter.
