Mother's are on my mind, actually I'm thinking about life and what it took to get where I'm sitting. The vantage point is remnicent, longing and bittersweet, if that makes sense. I guess it's true of all mother's with grown children. Can never get those days back and when there is no hint of children by your side, it does get sad. Anyway, cheers to all my dear friends who are mother's , have mothers, miss their mothers or look forward to becoming mothers. Life is never the same-etched into our hearts forever.

We live in a time of instant gratification. If you need to know something, 'Google it'! 'Here today, gone tomorrow' is how quickly information and images flow in cyberworld. It is therefore important to note the response of the world to the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Many are shocked by their own profound sadness, at the loss of this iconic figure. Not because we knew her but because she was entrenched in the history that has shaped our lives. The collage of photographs from the different era's in which she was a part is staggering. She personified endurance; enabling us to understand our need for a constant in our lives, whether that is traditions from our culture or passed on through our families.
I remember when I was young, my mother would put me on a blanket in the garden, surrounded by my favorite friends and a cup of tea.....

UVA TEAS together with our partner company, The Royal Ceylon Tea Company, est. 1885 wishes to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II who honored us with her presence at three different times during her reign, while on visits to Ceylon.
An immense thank you for your service your Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, for being the symbol of loyalty, endurance and strength over our lifetimes and a beacon of hope to so many in this constant and ever changing world. You will be sadly missed. RIP

JULY 9TH, 2022-SRI LANKA'S NEW INDEPENDANCE DAY
Free from corruption, free to decide their fate as a country, unified, resilient and more determined than at any other time to turn their country into the thriving Nation it once was.
It is hard to see on the news, the streets we used to walk upon, the buildings we used to frequent, surrounded by a sea of people hell bent on saving their country.
We at UVA TEAS want to help by standing by Lanka during its most difficult days.
