You’re standing on one side thinking, “Well… this is familiar and comfortable.”

But the other side is where the excitement —and maybe a little extra income—lives. 😉

Starting a second income stream felt a LOT like stepping onto that bridge. A little scary? Yep. A little “What the heck am I doing?” Absolutely. 😂

But I figured… if I can cross a bridge without turning around halfway, I can learn something new and build another income stream too.

Because retirement should be about having more options, more freedom, and more time for the fun stuff—not just getting really good at saying, “Maybe next year.”

Sometimes you just have to take the first step… and trust the bridge. 🌉✨

Let’s be honest… everything costs more these days. 😳

Groceries. Gas. Insurance. Travel. Dinner out. Even the “quick little” Target run somehow costs $100. 😂

And if you’re counting on one income, a pension, or your regular paycheque to cover everything, you might be feeling the squeeze too.

That’s exactly why I decided to build an online business and create another stream of income.

Not because I wanted to work MORE.

Because I wanted more options. More breathing room. More freedom.

I don’t know what the future will bring, but I do know this:

Hoping things get cheaper isn’t a financial strategy. 😉

Creating another income stream could be one of the smartest things you do for your future.

I LOVE that these two things can coexist.

Life is for living. ❤️
Retirement is for enjoying. 🎶

Retirement was never supposed to mean just having enough to pay the bills and getting by.

It is supposed to mean having OPTIONS. ✨

More trips. More experiences. More time with the people I love. More “yes” to doing the things that make life feel like living.

That’s one of the reasons I started building an online business.

Not because I wanted another job.
Not because I wanted to spend retirement working 24/7.

I wanted to create a second stream of income that could give me more flexibility and choices with my time.

Because earning more isn’t really about having more stuff…

It’s about having the freedom to say:

“Yes, we can afford to go.”
“Yes, let’s take the trip.”
“Yes, we have time for that.”

I spent enough years working...

Now I’m focused on living life to the fullest. ❤️

And honestly? That feels like a pretty great retirement plan.

Simple.

But not easy.

Because FEAR makes staying still feel safe.

Safer to delay.
Safer to overthink.
Safer to wait until "ready."

But let this be your reminder that your life won’t change while you wait.

It changes the moment you finally decide:

“I may be terrified, but I am ready to try.”

Because sometimes the biggest thing holding people back isn't lack of opportunity...

It’s fear, avoidance, or the way they feel uncomfortable about doing something new and unfamiliar.

I was nervous and worried when I started my online business. I was scared I might fail, and didn’t have enough tech knowledge or followers. But I decided to push my fears aside and go for it!!

Maybe this is your sign to stop waiting for certainty.

And start taking action anyway. 🤍

For the musical theatre lovers… 🎭✨

Who would’ve thought… 🤯 A little piece of Hollywood magic hidden away in Grand Rapids, Minnesota! ❤️ We stopped here for the night on our trip home and discovered this gem. If you love musical theatre as much as I do, you can imagine my excitement!

The Judy Garland Museum is such a fun place to visit for anyone who grew up loving The Wizard of Oz and the incredible world of musical theatre. 🌈👠

Walking through the museum and seeing pieces of Judy’s life and career makes me appreciate just how much of a legend she truly was. Judy was referred to as America’s Sweetheart. 💕

As much as I love travelling, it always feels amazing to return home. Just like Judy’s character Dorothy says in the movie, “There’s no place like home,” and I couldn’t agree more!! 🏡

Earning a good paycheque can still keep you stuck…

That's the part nobody talks about.

You worked hard to build your career.

You make decent money.

You've created a good life.

But retiring isn't exactly an option right now.

Here’s what I want you to know...

You don't have to stop working to start creating another option.

You can use the experience, skills and knowledge you've spent DECADES building and learn how to create another income.

An hour here.

A couple hours there.

Learn the skills.

Build alongside what you're already doing in the quiet pockets of your day.

Because the goal isn't to blow up the life you've built.

It's to make sure you have choices about the life you're building next. 🤍

This is exactly why I wanted more freedom in retirement.

8300 km later… Alberta ➡️ Newfoundland ➡️ Alberta, with a little Ottawa adventure thrown in along the way. 🚗💨

Because retirement, to me, isn’t about sitting around waiting for life to happen.

It’s about having the freedom to GO. ❤️

Travel.
Adventures.
Time together.
Experiences we’ll remember.

That’s a big part of why I decided I wanted to create another stream of income—not because I wanted another job, but because I wanted more options. ✈️

More freedom.
More experiences.
More “let’s just go” moments.
