💈 Aurora has spoken... and apparently everyone wants the same haircut. 😆

Find out which style is dominating barber chairs across town in the latest episode of the Around Aurora podcast, where hosts Vern and Jess sit down with Tyler and Zack from  Kings Barbershop Studio.

From funny customer stories and unexpected life advice and insights into Aurora’s growing downtown barber culture, this conversation offers a candid look at the relationships built one haircut at a time. Plus, we put our guests through a fun round of rapid-fire questions to find out where they stand on fades, beards, coffee, and more.

What a couple of weeks for Aurora Economic Development!

From empowering entrepreneurs to connecting with our community, it’s been busy in the best way.

We kicked things off by hosting our very first CNX Accelerator Studio workshop.

So inspired by the amazing group of local founders and partners who joined us!

Huge thanks to our guest speaker Diem Le (ventureLAB Innovation Centre ) for sharing powerful insights into how AI is shaping the future of Medtech. The energy in the room was🔥.

Then we headed to the Aurora Street Festival!

Connecting with residents, hearing your ideas, and gathering feedback on our downtown 🙌

If you stopped by our booth, asked a question, or filled out a survey — THANK YOU 💛 Your voice helps shape what’s next.

👏 Big shoutout to the Aurora Chamber of Commerce for another incredible event…and to the AEDC Board of Directors for your ongoing support and guidance.

Aurora’s business community is thriving and we’re just getting started.
