Is revenue the reason or the result?
Putting this out there for discussion. I'm curious to hear the perspectives you and your business(es) hold.
What is your approach to success?
Do you, and your team, focus from the outset on target revenue numbers and consistently push towards those targets? Do you build strategies with the desired result as the ever-present, overarching goal?
OR
Do you tend to focus the majority of your attention on the strategy and activities you want to execute, rooted in other priorities while keeping an eye on the numbers to monitor results?
How do you do it? What is your ultimate measure of success? (Revenue target? Bottom line? Market share? Customer satisfaction? Other?) How are your results?
This isn't a loaded question with an opinion already in place that I intend to use to validate or discredit your own approach.
