The Wells-Barkerville Community Forest and Barkerville Brewing are partnering on on a brand new, limited run b**r, made with spruce tips from our Community Forest!

Recognizing that this is a bit last minute, Barkerville Brewing Co. will be out to Wells tomorrow (Friday June 28) picking said spruce tips. They welcome our participation in the harvest!

If you are interested, meet at the school parking lot for 9:20, at which point the group will wander down the board for the picking.

The Community Organizations Open House is this Friday from 4pm to 9pm!

There is a great lineup of participating community groups. The Wells - Barkerville Community Forest will be there to answer any and all of your questions, especially about our upcoming expansion. And don't forget about the food!

Wells-Barkerville Community Forest Ltd. administers a 4,530 hectare forest immediately north of Wells, British Columbia. It aims to balance the sale of timber with the retention of biodiversity and provides a variety of forest education and forest recreation programs to residents and visitors.
