Home sweet home!
Alberta doesn’t follow the forecast… it rewrites it mid-day. ❄️🌤️😅
It’s that mindset of, “Yeah it’s -5 right now… but give it an hour.”
The hoodie’s for that crisp mountain air that never really leaves, and the shorts are for when a Chinook rolls in and suddenly it feels like spring showed up unannounced. Snow on the ground, sun overhead, and somehow… you’re overdressed.
You’ll see it everywhere—Tim Hortons runs, gas stations off the highway, people standing around chatting like the wind isn’t doing the absolute most. Someone’s grilling, someone’s in a beanie, someone else is pretending it’s patio season. No explanation. Just Alberta things.
Because here, winter isn’t a season… it’s negotiable.
You wake up freezing, hit a random warm surge by afternoon, and by evening you’re checking the temperature like, “okay but what’s the catch?”
It’s not about fashion.
It’s about surviving a place where Chinook winds flip the script, the mountains set the tone, and putting your winter jacket away is basically tempting fate. 🇨🇦
