Namaste, Hope everyone is doing well and spending good time with Family.
There is a lot of fear mongering going on and a very negative environment has been created all around about COVID-19 Pandemic.
“Precaution is the best cure”
When most of us are home some quarantined, some self isolated. Let’s beat this Monster called COVID - 19 and a bigger Monster our Fear by practicing some simple tips to stay healthy.
Since the Virus attacks our lungs and respiratory system, I suggest doing some simple breathing exercises (we can do any time of the day) to make our respiratory system stronger and increase our immunity.
1) Anulom vilom pranayam ( also called nadi shuddhi pranayam)
2) Kapal bharti Pranayam
3)Bhastrika Pranayam
I have been practicing it for last three years now & the benefits I have received by practicing it are beyond words. It creates internal heat and purifies our breathing channel by supplying more oxygen to the lungs.
All these pranayam can be practiced by people of any age group, any time of the day. However, it works best early in the morning & empty stomach.
People with any medical condition, High B.P. and pregnant women should avoid it.
