Social media shouldn't feel like a second job.

Monarch Design Co aka Ashley Wyatt, a brand and graphic designer here in Barrie, came to me stuck in the "what do I even post" cycle.
I get it because I run social for clients all day, then run out of time for my own!

We built her a repeatable 90-day plan so she could show up as herself without overthinking every post.

Want the same? Send me a DM and let's build yours.✨

It kind of feels like I lived multiple lifetimes this past week and a bit but I have so much to be thankful for.

✨ We made it through another school year that some how seemed to move at the speed of sound
✨ We went on our annual camping trip to celebrate Canada Day and the start of summer. We had an incredible time and the second last day we made it through a micro burst storm. It was terrifying to witness how quickly the weather can change, but we all were safe and we have so much to be thankful for there.
✨ I found a new book series to completely nerd out to and that always makes me so happy!
✨ Until the storm I was able to work with the most beautiful views and was so thankful I could do both.

What are you thankful for this week?

PITCH MY FRIENDS: Lesley Turner
Meet my friend Lesley Turner: somatic practitioner, intuitive guide, and the woman who will quietly rewire you without you even realizing it's happening.
Full disclosure: I have always considered myself woo adjacent. I believe in the work, I respect the process — but I'm also the person who approaches new things with one eyebrow slightly raised. And then I had two sessions with Lesley and now I genuinely cannot stop telling people about her.
What she does is different. It's not talk therapy. It's not journaling prompts. It's body-based work that gets at the patterns that your brain has tried (and failed) to logic its way out of. And it's not heavy or overwhelming — it's actually the opposite. You walk away feeling like something that's been holding on finally let go.
Here's why I will be recommending Lesley for the rest of my life:
✨ She meets you exactly where you are — no pressure, no forcing, no reliving.

✨ Her SEER sessions combine somatic awareness, intuition, and emotional pattern work in a way that actually lands.

✨ Two sessions in and I noticed real shifts in how I respond to things that used to set me off.

✨ If you've done the therapy and the journaling and still feel stuck — this is the missing piece.
If any part of this resonates, check out her website www.lesleyturner.ca You don't have to be "woo" to benefit. You just have to be ready to feel different.

The client-to-friend pipeline is real and I am not sorry about it.
There is something that happens when you work closely with someone. Somewhere between the strategy calls and the content reviews, the texts start to shift. One minute you're talking deliverables. The next someone has sent something completely unhinged and you're crying laughing at your phone in a parking lot.

This is one of my favourite parts of the job, honestly. The part that doesn't make it into the case studies.

Another week and another pile of things to be thankful for.
How was your week? Anything stand out that you're grateful for?

If your capacity is low but your standards are high…
You're not lazy. You're just stretched thin — and social media keeps falling to the bottom of the list.

Here's the thing: you don't have to do this alone.
We offer done with you and done for you services depending on where you're at.
✨ Want strategy and support while you stay in the driver's seat? Done with you.
✨ Want to hand it off completely? Done for you.
Either way, your standards are safe with us.

If this sounds like what you've been looking for, we'd love to connect!

Heads up for anyone who manages their own Instagram 📣 there's a new update worth knowing about!
You can now reorder your grid. Drag and drop your posts into any order you want, without deleting anything.
It's a small change that makes a big difference if you care about how your profile looks at first glance (and you should as it's your first impression).

Watch the reel for the quick how-to. ✨

Social media doesn’t feel hard because you’re bad at it.

It feels hard because no one gave you a system.
Too many decisions. No clear audience. Just vibes and a vague sense that you should be posting more.

The fix isn’t more content — it’s less chaos.
That’s what I help with. ✨
If this carousel felt a little too familiar, my DMs are open!

I feel like my weekly gratitude practice comes and goes, but I always feel so good when I can see all the beautiful things I have to be thankful for each week!
What happened in your week that you're feeling all the gratitude for?

He already had the work. He just needed the words to match it. 📷
Brandyn Hollands Photography is a brand photographer serving businesses across Simcoe County and York Region. Natural, warm, intentional, and genuinely not interested in making every client look the same.

He came for a Social Simplified session with a full calendar, a clear aesthetic, and a problem a lot of really good business owners have:
He felt like he'd already said everything there was to say. (He hadn't. He'd just said it one way.)

Here's what the session uncovered 👇
→ The "I've said it all" feeling isn't a creativity problem. It's a framework problem. One idea can become three pieces of content when you know how to extract it.
→ His strongest differentiator: refusing to make every client fit the industry mould, was barely showing up in his content.
→ His audience's deepest want isn't just great photos. It's to be chosen. That one insight became an entire content pillar.
→ Threads was basically made for him. Dry humour, reality TV opinions, industry hot takes, and he hadn't fully given himself permission to use it yet.
→ York Region growth needs more than Instagram. A light LinkedIn strategy changes who finds him there.

The plan we built gave him a Monday morning system, a repurposing framework that makes one idea go further, and a 90-day roadmap that starts where he actually is.
Consistency was never the problem. The system just needed to catch up to the work. 🌲

Social Simplified is a done-with-you strategy session and custom 90-day plan for business owners who are ready to stop guessing.
