We started August in Calgary, watching our daughter play in her last minor softball tournament — and what a way to finish! Her team won Nationals, becoming the first Alberta team to do so in 40 years! 🥹🥎🏆 Such an amazing way to wrap up her minor softball career!

From there, we hit the road to OKC to get her back to college. We drove through so many states, took in some beautiful scenery, and eventually found the Oklahoma heat — +40 every day… I was in heaven! 😂☀️

We finished off the trip by travelling through a few more new states and taking in two MLB games along the way. ⚾️

It was such a great trip and we made a lot of memories, but it’s never easy leaving your kid thousands of miles away. ❤️ Thankfully, she’s happy, doing what she loves, and living her best life — and really, that’s all that matters. 🥰

This is extremely accurate! 😆

Back from the Seattle area! We had a great trip watching my son play in his final baseball tournament of the spring/summer season. We also had some time to toodle around and explore the area. Beautiful weather, great baseball, and best of all… no bugs! I could definitely get used to that. 😂☀️⚾
