Some individuals make a lasting impact not only through the work that they deliver but also through the care, commitment, and standard of excellence by which they operate. Add to that the quality of being genuinely good people, and it makes parting ways all the more bittersweet.

Ian Cyr, our former Mine Surface Superintendent, is one of those individuals. A dedicated and supportive presence, Ian played an important role through the early phases of our growth and during our accelerated efforts over the past year. We are grateful for his years of service and his many contributions.

He will be missed across our operations at , and we wish him all the best as he enjoys a well-deserved retirement.

Recently, we had the opportunity to visit Hollow Water First Nation to meet with community members and continue the conversations around our True North Gold Project.

The visit provided an opportunity for open dialogue, where community members shared questions, perspectives, and ideas. We were encouraged by the strong level of engagement and the meaningful discussions that took place throughout the evening.

Our executive and site leadership team were present, allowing community members to connect directly with the people leading the work on the project. These conversations are important to us, as they help ensure we are listening, learning, and understanding the priorities of the community as we move forward.

We appreciate the time community members took to attend, ask questions, and engage in thoughtful discussion. Opportunities like this help us build relationships and continue moving forward together in a respectful and collaborative way.

Thank you to everyone from Hollow Water First Nation who joined us. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and strengthening these relationships.

This week, we held our first community meeting at Black River First Nation.

We had the opportunity to meet with community members, to listen to their questions and concerns, and have open, respectful conversations about our True North Gold Project.

Our executive and site leadership team were in attendance, allowing for organic discussions about the work we’re doing and how we’re approaching the project with respect for the community. Community members were able to connect directly with the right people to ask questions and have meaningful one-on-one conversations on topics important to them, as individuals and as members of the Community.

We were encouraged by the strong turnout with great discussions and interest from people who wanted to learn more and explore how they might get involved going forward.

We have many plans to move forward together with the communities we work with, ensuring we move together, and in a good way.
