The trauma is real. 🧵👇🏼

I can laugh about it now (mostly), but a few days ago I was balling my eyes out while trying to fix the absolute butchery my kids did to their hair downstairs. I really wish I grabbed a photo of the "in-between" madness, but I was in pure survival mode.

Turns out, my kids playing "barber shop" triggered some deep childhood trauma of my own DIY haircut disasters (shoutout to everyone who called me a boy in the 90s). 🫠

So when my kids came up the stairs looking like they got into a fight with a lawnmower... all that trauma came rushing back.

My nervous system needed a massive reset after this one. 🧘‍♀️

After a couple of months away doing the healing that was needed, I am finally back. And we have some catching up to do!
