Got our garlic out, a little late but it looks awesome! We beat the rain tonight.

Now our garage will be taken over by 600+ garlic drying for the next few weeks! Grown in our own yard, we have not bought garlic in 10 years. This is the first year we plan to have a small amount for sale as seed garlic!

Garlic is an amazing plant that requires very little maintenance and since it's planted in the fall, it saves time for other endeavours come planting season!

Happy planting! Happy 150th Bobcaygeon!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Locks today to celebrate Bobcaygeon 150 and take part in our free potting activity!

Ryan and I truly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people, reconnecting with familiar faces, and sharing great conversations throughout the day.

Our Northern Kiwi Vines have had a hard couple years.
Vines like grapes/kiwis, trees like willows, locust, and shrubs like lilac and nannyberry have shown resilience to last year 's drought. Rebounding in different ways and pushing out new growth.

Maybe this year we will finally get a 🥝.
