📚 #7: I Wish I Had Known This Journey Would Change More Than My Income

When I started looking for another stream of income, I simply wanted to earn a little extra alongside my full-time HR career.

What I didn’t expect was how much I would grow.

This journey has helped me develop valuable digital skills, become more confident, step outside my comfort zone, and build friendships with incredible people. I’ve also had the privilege of helping others begin journeys of their own.

Looking back, this business has given me far more than an additional stream of income.

It has given me more choices, more flexibility, more opportunities, and more options for my family’s future.

It also taught me one important lesson…

The best decision I made wasn’t saying “yes” immediately.

It was taking the time to learn, ask questions, do my research, and fully understand what I was getting into before making a decision.

That gave me the confidence to move forward, and it’s the same opportunity I want others to have.

📚 #6: I Wish I Had Known I Would Never Have to Build This Business Alone

When people think about starting an online business, they often focus on the products, the systems, or the technology.

What I didn’t realise was how important the people would become.

Starting something new can be exciting…

But it can also feel lonely.

There will always be questions.

Moments when you wonder if you’re doing the right thing.

Days when you feel like giving up.

One of the biggest blessings I’ve found in this business is not just the training or the training exposure or the automation.

It is the people.

From the very beginning, I was surrounded by coaches, mentors, and a community of people who genuinely wanted to see one another succeed.

People who celebrated every milestone - big or small.

People who freely shared ideas, experiences, and encouragement.

People who reminded me that progress is more important than perfection.

I realised I wasn’t just starting a business, I was joining a proven business system designed to help ordinary people learn, grow, and build with confidence.

Of course, no one can build the business for me.

My results are still my responsibility.

But having people who had already walked the path made the journey far less intimidating.

I often wonder how many people never start simply because they think they have to figure everything out on their own.

What if learning a new skill was easier because someone was there to guide you every step of the way?

Looking back, I realised something important…

Confidence doesn’t always come before you begin. Sometimes it grows because the right people believe in you, while you’re learning to believe in yourself.

That has been one of the greatest gifts this business has given me.

📚 #5: I Wish I Had Known How Powerful Automation Could Be…

One of the reasons I love this business is that it doesn’t rely on me being available 24 hours a day.

Before I started, I assumed building an online business meant sitting behind a computer all day.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The business system includes automation that allows people to learn about the opportunity, register, and watch the information session - even while I’m at work, spending time with my family, travelling, or asleep.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt is that automation doesn’t replace people, it helps the business run more efficiently.

Like any successful business, it still benefits from consistent attention and care.

I continue creating content, learning, connecting with people and following up.

The difference is that automation takes care of many of the repetitive tasks, allowing me to spend more time learning, serving people, building relationships, and continuing to grow my business.

As someone balancing a full-time HR career, family responsibilities, and everyday life, that flexibility is incredibly valuable.

It also made me realise something…

What if creating an additional stream of income didn’t always mean being available around the clock?

That question completely changed the way I looked at building a business.

One lesson I’ve learnt is this:

A business should support your life, not consume it.

It means you are using the right systems to work smarter while consistently showing up to learn, serve others, and continue growing your business.

Looking back, I wish I had known that sooner.

📚 #4: I Wish I Had Known I Could Build This Business Around My Full-Time Career

One of my biggest concerns before starting this business was time.

I already had a demanding full-time career in Human Resources.

I’m a wife.

I’m a mum.

Like many people, my life was already busy.

The last thing I wanted was another full-time job.

What I was looking for was another stream of income that could fit around the life I already had.

That’s one of the biggest reasons this business appealed to me.

The training is self-paced, allowing me to learn when it suits my schedule. The flexibility, systems, and automation mean I can continue building my business while balancing my career, my family, and the other responsibilities that matter most to me.

Some days I spend more time on my business.

Other days I spend less.

I’ve learnt that building a successful business is not about having endless free time.

It’s about being intentional and consistent with the time you have.

📚 #3: I Wish I Had Known I Didn’t Have to Chase People to Build My Business…

Before I started this business, one of my biggest fears was that I would have to constantly message people, pressure family and friends, or convince everyone I knew to join me.

I actually was passionate about letting people know this business was good and thought they needed to see the value and experience the benefits just like I did.

Honestly…

I did not have to do that. If that had been the business model, I probably wouldn’t have started.

This business teaches attraction marketing rather than pressure marketing.

Instead of chasing people, I learned how to create content that educates, adds value, and helps people who are already looking for an opportunity like this find me.

The business also provided the training, mentorship, automation, and proven systems that helped me build an online presence in a way that felt genuine and authentic.

One thing that still amazes me is this…

I didn’t even know my coach before I joined this business.

We first connected online through the content she was sharing. Then, about two weeks ago, during my family trip to Calgary, we finally met in person for the very first time.

Some of you may remember the post I shared about that special moment. What started as an online connection became a meaningful friendship and a beautiful in-person meeting. It was a reminder that genuine relationships can begin online and grow into real-life connections.

Today, many of the wonderful people I have had the privilege of helping start their own businesses were also complete strangers when we first connected online.

That completely changed my perspective.

I realised this business is not about chasing people. Many people still feel this way…

It is about building trust, creating value, and allowing relationships to grow naturally.

Looking back, I wish I had known that from the very beginning.

📚 #2: You do not need any experience to Get Started.

No experience in Business or Marketing is required!

You only need decision, the rest you can learn.

One of the biggest reasons many people never start an online business is because they think they are not qualified.

I completely understand that feeling because I felt exactly the same.

Having worked in Human Resources for many years, I had never built an online business prior to starting my business.

I was not marketer or an influencer.

I did not also have thousands of followers.

I did not know how to run Facebook ads, build a website, or create sales funnels.

What I did have was the willingness to learn.

One of the reasons I chose this affiliate digital marketing business is because it wasn’t designed only for people who already had experience.

It was designed to help ordinary people like me, learn to build an online business with confidence.

Through step-by-step, self-paced training, experienced mentorship, coaching, and proven business systems, I was able to learn new skills, ask questions, build my confidence, and grow my business one step at a time.

📚 #1: Not All Affiliate Digital Marketing Businesses Are Created Equal…

When I first started looking for an additional stream of income online, I honestly thought all affiliate marketing businesses were the same.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Like many people, I spent some time researching different opportunities, asking questions, and trying to understand how they worked. Some didn’t make sense. Some didn’t feel like the right fit. In fact, we even lost money trying a few things along the way.

That experience taught me to slow down, ask better questions, and be much more intentional.

What eventually gave me the confidence to move forward with my digital business wasn’t just the opportunity to earn, it was the complete business system behind it.

I was introduced to a structured system designed to help ordinary people build an online business with confidence.

📚 7 Things I Wish I Had Known Before Starting My Affiliate Digital Marketing Business…

Over the past few months, many people have reached out with questions about my affiliate digital marketing business.

Some are curious.

Some are skeptical.

Honestly, I can relate because before I started, I had many of the same questions.
