Standing in the bamboo forest of Kyoto 🇯🇵, I’m reminded that perhaps life isn’t as complicated as we make it.

Keep learning. Take calculated risks. Question your conditioning. And never be afraid to recreate yourself.

You inherited many ideas about who you should be, what success should look like, and what a “safe” life means.

But you’re allowed to outgrow them.

A friend asked me recently:

“If you had to start all over again, what would you do differently?”

My answer?

Nothing. I’d do the same things, just much sooner.

I’d take the risks sooner.
Invest sooner.
Start the businesses sooner.
Travel sooner.
Trust myself sooner.
And care far less about the opinions of people who don’t have to live with the consequences of my choices.

Every adversity taught me what comfort couldn’t.
Every misstep became tuition.
Every rejection redirected me.
And every victory showed me that I was capable of more.

A life well lived isn’t a life without mistakes.

It’s having the courage to keep learning, evolving and building a life that feels happy, meaningful and fulfilling to YOU 🫵🏼.

And if one day you realize you’ve been climbing the wrong mountain?

Come back down. Pick another one.

You’re allowed to recreate yourself.

🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: I am now a certified Samurai Ninja. 🥷😂

After a few hours of intense training in Japan 🇯🇵, I can now confidently hold a Samurai sword, throw ninja stars, strike intimidating poses… and look extremely dangerous for Instagram. 😂⚔️

Please govern yourselves accordingly. 😎🥷

But somewhere between the swords, discipline, precision and centuries of Samurai tradition, there was actually a lesson:

The warrior you become is built long before the battle begins.

Life works the same way.
Train your mind. Sharpen your skills. Master your emotions. Stay disciplined when nobody is watching.

Because when your moment finally comes, you don’t suddenly become ready, you reveal the person you’ve been training to become.

And remember: sometimes you have to travel halfway around the world just to discover that the warrior was already inside you. 😎

Now excuse me while I update my résumé:

Entrepreneur. Investor. Home Care Startup Consultant.
Samurai Ninja. 🥷

First time in my life I actually felt like a GIANT 😅.

I kept asking why everything in the traditional Japanese house felt so short. Then I was told a mythical story about samurai history and height. Whether the legend is historically accurate or not, one thing was certain…

I finally knew what it felt like to be tall. 😂

But while sitting in that little home, another thought crossed my mind:

This is literally enough space to start a HOME CARE BUSINESS.

You don’t need a fancy downtown office.
You don’t need to quit your job.
You don’t need 40 hours a week.

In my Home Care Business Startup Training, I actually recommend starting from home while keeping your full-time job.

🏠 Start from your home office.
⏰ Commit about 2 focused hours a day.
💰 Build your first clients.
📈 Grow your revenue.
🏢 Move into an external office when the business actually requires one.

And yes, my training is $10K.

Times are hard, I understand that. But I look at money differently:

I would rather invest a house down payment into building a business that could eventually help me buy multiple houses.

That is exactly the path I took.

I’m not teaching theory. I teach the system I used to build my own home care business and the lessons I learned doing it.

You can keep waiting for the “perfect time”…

Or you can start building something alongside the job you already have.

🔥 I have room for ONLY 2 people starting next month.

If you’re serious about starting a Home Care business in Canada or the USA, DM me ASAP.

Come with ambition. I’ll bring the blueprint. 😎

Experiencing Japan’s bullet train was more than just a ride, it was a glimpse into what happens when discipline, innovation, respect and excellence become part of a culture. 🇯🇵🚅

Travelling at nearly 300 km/h, yet the ride feels incredibly smooth. Trains arrive with remarkable precision. Stations are organized. Streets are exceptionally clean. Infrastructure is world-class. And despite the millions of people moving through these cities, there’s an unmistakable sense of order, respect and personal responsibility.

What impressed me most about Japan isn’t just the technology. It’s the mindset behind it.

Cleanliness without needing someone constantly reminding you to clean.
Respect without demanding recognition.
Efficiency without unnecessary chaos.
Advanced infrastructure that simply… works.

Japan reminded me that a developed society isn’t built only with money and technology. It’s built by people whose everyday habits support the kind of society they want to live in.

Kyoto said: “Welcome to old Japan.” 🇯🇵👘🍵

And apparently, old Japan takes hospitality VERY seriously. 😂

Arrived at my traditional lodge and about five people rushed to the car to welcome me and collect my bags. I tried to carry something myself… but absolutely NOT.
One person personally escorted me inside, showed us exactly where the outside world ends and the shoes come off, and suddenly I was walking on tatami floors and stepping into another era.

Then came the yukata 👘 lesson.

They carefully showed me how to wear it properly, including the most important detail: left side over right. Get that backwards and apparently you’ve dressed yourself for your own funeral. 💀😂 I’ve never concentrated this hard while putting on a robe.

Then came my first Japanese tea in Kyoto. My taste buds were beautifully amazed.

Next lesson: zaisu, Japanese chairs with NO LEGS.

My ankles still hurt from learning to sit on them.

That’s the magic of travel: the farther you go from what you know, the more you realize there are a thousand different ways to live a beautiful life.

Welcome to old Japan. 🇯🇵
The Kyoto adventure is just beginning. 👘🍵

UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTHS VERY FEW PEOPLE WILL TELL YOU…

The world does not treat everyone the same.

I’ve looked rough, and I’ve looked powerful.
The difference in treatment? Night and day.

I’ve been broke, and I’ve had more than I needed.
Trust me, the world responds differently when your bank account changes.

I’ve travelled with a passport from a developing country, and I’ve travelled with a passport from a powerful country.
Same human being. Same face. Same brain.
Completely different experience.

We can debate whether this is fair or we can understand the world we actually live in.

Looks matter.
Money matters.
Your passport matters.
Your network matters.
Your positioning matters.

So if I could give you one piece of advice today:

Take care of yourself. Look like you respect yourself.
Build wealth aggressively.
Invest. Own assets. Create options.
And if circumstances allow, position yourself to have the citizenship, residency, mobility and access that open more doors.

Not because these things determine your worth, they don’t.

But because they can absolutely determine your access.

The world will not rewrite these rules during our lifetime. Learn the game, position yourself intelligently, and create enough freedom that you get to choose how you live.

Thank me someday.

🇯🇵 Tokyo, you were incredible. Thank you for the amazing experience and hospitality.

Grateful for the life I’ve lived so far.

It took me a few decades to realize that living and being alive are not always the same thing.

I didn’t realize how quietly worry was stealing pieces of my life. Worry about tomorrow, people, outcomes, and things I simply couldn’t control.

Eventually, life taught me:

Change what I can.
Accept what I cannot.
And know the difference.

I learned to forgive quicker, release negative emotions faster, and see the beautiful human in others even when they may never see the one in me.

Most importantly, I found alignment.

And once you find that place of peace, clarity and understanding, you learn to protect it. You can love people and wish them well without allowing their chaos to become yours.

My greatest teacher has been adversity.

I’m grateful for the lessons but I no longer believe we need suffering to keep growing. Some difficulties build you; others can break pieces of you that take years to rebuild.

Sometimes growth looks like struggle.

But sometimes growth looks like peace, wisdom, letting go, and finally learning the lesson without needing life to teach it the hard way again.

It’s been a long journey getting here.

And hopefully, an even longer one ahead.

Grateful for yesterday.
At peace with today.
Curious about tomorrow.
