Standing in the bamboo forest of Kyoto 🇯🇵, I’m reminded that perhaps life isn’t as complicated as we make it.
Keep learning. Take calculated risks. Question your conditioning. And never be afraid to recreate yourself.
You inherited many ideas about who you should be, what success should look like, and what a “safe” life means.
But you’re allowed to outgrow them.
A friend asked me recently:
“If you had to start all over again, what would you do differently?”
My answer?
Nothing. I’d do the same things, just much sooner.
I’d take the risks sooner.
Invest sooner.
Start the businesses sooner.
Travel sooner.
Trust myself sooner.
And care far less about the opinions of people who don’t have to live with the consequences of my choices.
Every adversity taught me what comfort couldn’t.
Every misstep became tuition.
Every rejection redirected me.
And every victory showed me that I was capable of more.
A life well lived isn’t a life without mistakes.
It’s having the courage to keep learning, evolving and building a life that feels happy, meaningful and fulfilling to YOU 🫵🏼.
And if one day you realize you’ve been climbing the wrong mountain?
Come back down. Pick another one.
You’re allowed to recreate yourself.
Rise and Shine ❤️
