Ever had a boss who leads like they're throwing tariffs at your sanity? Yep, we've all seen it. Power-tripping, bulldozing, and calling it 'leadership'.…

Disappear for awhile.

Be introspective.

Take stock of habits you want to remove, habits you want to incorporate.

Stretch your comfort zone.

Practice…a lot!

Rinse and repeat.

Applies both personally and professionally.

And…BOOM!

This bag has been with me for 20 years. Sure, I’ve bought “cuter” ones over the years but, we’re buds now and she can’t be replaced. 12th flight to close out this month.

I’ve taken a serious sabbatical from social over the last year, highly recommend if you haven’t done so.

Noticing I have a lot of DMs, will get back to you when I can, haven’t been ignoring you!!!

What can we say about Fran Leibowitz that she hasn't already said about herself?

Known as being rather outspoken and quite loquacious, Leibowitz is a writer with a killer wit, as evidenced by the above quote.

While we don't recommend trying to emulate anyone in your presentations - least of all someone as unapologetic as Leibowitz - we do recommend building in-depth knowledge on an array of topics. This will help you to develop a unique voice that will yield more interesting talks.

If there's one thing you should take away from Fran Leibowitz, it's that you should be BOLD.

Be bold and original when giving a speech and tap into your inner New York City persona.

Throw away the imposter syndrome, throw away your fear of not being liked, and throw away your fear of being booed off stage. Instead, allow Fran Liebowitz to inspire you to be the bold, original, bad-ass speaker you KNOW you can be.

Known for her unique perspectives, Fran Leibowitz shares a number of them with her audience in the 2010 HBO documentary, Public Speaking.

Among them is her quote "When I was a child, it was called talking back. Now it is called ‘public speaking, but it’s really the same. The thing I used to get punished for at home and in school and get bad marks for then I ended up getting paid and rewarded for it.”

Liebowitz is filled with wit. She’s brash and she moves fast. But, she's also a modern day Renaissance woman and has in-depth knowledge on an array of topics, which is incredibly important and helps to deliver interesting talks.

On August 17, 1998, Bill Clinton gave one of the most famous (or infamous) speeches of all time.

In this short, terse speech, Clinton finally admitted he had engaged in an improper relationship with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

If you missed our last couple of posts about this infamous speech, we'll say it again: BE TRUTHFUL when giving a presentation.

When giving a presentation, it's important to be truthful with your audience.

If a presenter is lying during their talk, the audience can often pick it up. You may not know exactly what's wrong, but you know something is off.

In this admission speech, Bill Clinton finally admits to an affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. We highly recommend watching as it provides a firm lesson on body language and subtle lying cues.

Hot tip from former US president Bill Clinton: be truthful.

It’s about integrity, and you either have it in all aspects of your life, or you don't. Clinton shows us what happens when you get tangled up in lies and then try to talk your way out of it.

When you're giving your own speech (that hopefully won't become infamous), be truthful with your audience because their intuition will be able to tell them if you're being duplicitous.
