Travelling with Cloth Diapers - 3 things to consider! 🤔

A frequent question many new cloth diaper parents ask "Should I travel with cloth diapers or should I just use disposables?" 🤷🏾‍♀️

While there is no right or wrong answer, we're here to share three things to consider when making your decision. 👇🏼

👉🏽 Why travel with cloth diapers?
If you use cloth diapers at home, you probably know the two primary motives of travelling are that's it's better for the environment and cost.🌎 However, the convenience of disposables does play a role and sometimes wins out.

👉🏽 Things to consider when travelling with cloth diapers:
✈️Your mode of transportation
🕦The length of time you are gone
🛌Accommodation type & access to laundry

All in all, travelling with cloth diapers is doable; it just takes planning and forethought. Although there is no right or wrong answer, we encourage you on your next trip to consider if it's possible to cloth a diaper while travelling with your wee one(s) and what that looks like for you and your family.

With the warmer weather in full effect, your wee ones bums are bound to get warm, especially with multiple layers when clothing diapering. 🤔 Luckily, we've rounded up 3 ways to keep your little ones bums cool this hot summer season! 👇🏼

⭐️ No pants, no worries - While we typically throw on our shorts and t-shirts in the summer, let your little ones roam with no pants and their cloth diaper exposed. This will provide one less layer for their bums to breathe, and you can also have them looking cute while doing it. We recommend for stylish diapers! 😄

⭐️ Cover less - Wool and fleece diaper covers may be the best options for hot weather. If you don't have them at home, we suggest trying a fitted diaper without a cover! This ensures the best breathability for your little one's bum.

⭐️ Avoid using power or lotion - Using these cosmetic products on your baby’s bottom during hot weather may clog the pores of the skin. This will hinder sweating, which is the skin’s natural way to release excess heat from the body. Our goal is to keep your little one's bums cool, not overheat! 🧷
