💥The holidays can be especially challenging. Please reach out to your friends and family just to see how they are doing. Reach out to those who you know are having a tougher time this year or in generl with mental health and or addictions.💥🧡

If you are struggling, as hard as it is. Reach out, call someone. Call one of these numbers. Go to a AA, NA, CMA, GA or any 12 step meeting. Even online is a great option. Or speaker tapes on youtube/Spotify.
People will support and understand you there.
Hit a ceremony, round dance, powow, talk with and elder, sing some culture songs.

Change doesn’t happen overnight 🌱

A lifetime of old habits and pain doesn’t turn itself around all at once. It happens one small, disciplined step at a time, one millimetre at a time. Every experience, every challenge, every person Creator places in our path… it’s all a lesson. Each moment teaches us something about ourselves, each other, and the world we live in.

That’s how we grow. That’s how we find true self-confidence.. by walking the journey with patience, humility, and faith.

🪶 Throwback Thursday

“The number one cause of your drinking isn’t the alcohol. It’s your character defects... your instincts gone astray.”

Every time we dishonor who we truly are, we create a split within ourselves, a spiritual sickness. And that pain? That’s what drives the drinking. That’s why in recovery, I don’t focus on the drink or the drug. Because that’s not the problem.. it’s the solution to a deeper issue.

The real work is on our behaviors, our fears, and our defects. When we start healing that part…We stop needing the escape.
