EnerCam President Mike Weeks and CFO Mads Braemer recently met with Baron Point CEO Martin John McCarthy and VP of Business Development Andrew Sullivan to discuss potential in-country refining for future Block VIII oil and gas production. Before Angkor Resources can drill Cambodia's first onshore oil and gas well, several steps remain. CEO Delayne Weeks outlined the process: final written approval from the Ministry of Environment, a drilling contractor bid submitted to the Ministry of Mines and Energy, contractor selection, and importing all drilling equipment, since Cambodia has no drilling infrastructure of its own yet.

Cambodia currently imports all of its refined petroleum products. That is the market gap Angkor Resources' subsidiary EnerCam and Baron Point's CNRS discussed at a recent meeting: refining future Block VIII production domestically instead of exporting it as raw crude. CNRS is developing Cambodia's first refining and processing capacity of its kind. Any offtake arrangement depends on a commercial discovery and regulatory approval.

📢 NEWS RELEASE: Angkor Resources’ latest drilling is providing new insight into the mineralized system at the Andong Bor license in Cambodia.

Drill core observations show the best copper mineralization within metasedimentary rocks, with copper values increasing dramatically in proximity to the highly reactive wall rock. Core samples are now being prepared for laboratory analysis to further evaluate the mineralization.

Angkor Resources is going back to Wild Boar for a reason. Surface and float samples from the gold prospect in Cambodia's Andong Meas license previously returned values up to 25.6 grams per tonne gold across a 1.5 by 1.2 kilometre anomaly.

Angkor Resources has completed magnetics and seismic work at Block VIII in Cambodia, and the project's Environmental Impact Assessment has now advanced to inter-ministerial review, with a meeting held on July 14 in Phnom Penh. At the Gossan Hills copper target in Cambodia, our Vice President of Exploration, Dennis Ouellette, says the current drill holes are the result of several years of work. 📢 NEWS RELEASE: A total of 2,800 meters of diamond drilling was planned for the Andong Bor copper-gold target in Cambodia. The first 1,099 meters was completed in mid-July on the Thmei North target, a one-square-kilometer copper anomaly.

CEO Delayne Weeks said: "...The use of proceeds as a monthly cash release of approximately $145,000 allows us to assay the existing mineral core and plan further drilling on the copper porphyry at Andong Bor and the gold prospects on Andong Meas mineral licenses. Monthly allotments allows us to continue to advance our operations on all fronts, leading to planned transactions on the mineral licenses in 2027.”
