SAVE THE Deerhead Cafe !!! We're saddened by the thought that one of Greenview's most iconic landmarks could disappear. Help to keep this staple of our community alive.

You may recall that whole "blip" in our world between 2021–2024, but the effects are still lingering. So many businesses shut their doors during that time, and family-owned businesses were some of the most impacted. Deerhead Cafe was one of the few businesses that was heavily disrupted and are unfortunately faced with the financial burden they've carried over the years.

We're calling on our community to help support this incredible business. The situation is urgent, so here are a few ways you can help:
1) Have breakfast at the Deerhead. Make a trip over for a delicious homemade meal or pop in for a coffee. Bring cash or be ready to e-transfer. The Deerhead is cash/e-transfer only, so come prepared!

2) Meet there. Have your next work meeting, catch up with a friend, grab lunch with someone you haven't seen in a while, or stop in while you're cruising through Greenview.

3) Tip generously. If you have a great meal and want to show some extra appreciation, leave a good tip. Every bit helps.

4) Book it for a photo shoot or film setting. The Deerhead has a look and character you won't find anywhere else in town. It's been in several TV shows, movies, and photo shoots. It's that perfect rustic and western look that can't be recreated.

In a world where everything is getting faster, newer and more automated, the Deerhead is refreshingly authentic. It's the kind of place people say they miss, a little piece of the past that still exists.

The Foundation 2026 Recap! Thank you to all of our sponsors, artists, DJs, musicians, performers, local businesses, vendors, and volunteers for making this our biggest graffiti jam yet! Greenview Graffiti Jam 2026 Map!!! Know where to go so you can visit all of the new walls happening this weekend (yellow stars). And be sure to check out the 51 existing locations with public artwork (red diamonds). Looking for some food? Visit some of our favorite spots to grab a bite and tell em Greenview sent ya!

The Graffiti Jam Hub (spray can) is where all of our public events will be held Sunday Sep 13. Including DJs, paint workshops, music from Def3 and performances from Pulse Studios | YYC Hip Hop stop by for some snacks and refreshments Saturday or Sunday!

Maps available in print at the hub or scan a QR code on site to map out your routes!

Sunday Community Jam Schedule and workshops!!! Besides the 60+ artists from across Canada, we have free public events running 12-4PM on Sunday Sept 13! Music, dance, PAINT! You're all invited to join us. See you there!

Little throw back to one of our 2025 graffiti jam zones off of 40th Avenue NE. We'll be releasing a map later this week (also available in print on site) for all of the locations with live painting happening this weekend. Our community event with workshops is happening Sunday Sep 13 where you can come and test out your skills, sign up for a workshop, catch some amazing music and watch all the painters do their thing. See ya there!

2026 Greenview Graffiti Jam (aka The Foundation Jam) is back September 12-13! 60 Artists from across Canada will be painting all weekend where you can stop by to check out their process as they paint 16 walls and a school bus! We're pleased to also announce our 2026 graphic (top right) was written by ©️DΛ3S1 ! Expect to see it around on T-shirts and on our Graffiti jam graphics all weekend. Details about what to expect Sat/Sun below!

SATURDAY Sep 12: Artists begin painting. Causal observations and chill zone. Free maps for self-guided tours to explore the live paintings and existing art of Greenview.

SUNDAY Sep 13 (Community Jam): Test out a can of paint on designated public set-ups. Free Graffiti Workshops. DJs/ artists including Def3 Heidi, 4kyaro as well as a hip-hop dance performance from Pulse Studios | YYC Hip Hop

GRAFFITI JAM! Save The Date: Sept 12-13

Our annual Graffiti Jam is happening September 12 and 13 in Greenview Industrial YYC! This year we have 12 new walls, 2 cube vans, and 55 artists from across Canada. We'll also be updating our school bus, tent, and have some areas where the public can test out their paint skills (both workshops and Freeplay areas). We are still working to procure a few more cube vans to accommodate more artists. Reach out if you have something you'd like revamped!

Stay tuned over the next two weeks, as we'll be diving into the history of graffiti in Greenview and announcing our DJs, activations, and community paint zone. For now, here's a few shots from Matt Wallace from our 2025 jam!
