Tonight wasn’t my scheduled shift at the bingo hall, but they needed help, so here I am. Grateful to be able to lend a hand and spend the evening with some great people. 🎱💛

😂 Well, that was a first for me…

I was driving through the mall parking lot and came to a 3-way stop. The vehicle in front of me stopped, but the one behind it decided stop signs were apparently just a suggestion and drove right through.

So I gave a little beep of the horn. 🚗📣

As he drove by, he looked over and SPIT at my car. 😳

Thankfully my window was up because that could have been awkward! 😂

I’m still sitting here wondering…
Have people always been this cranky, or am I just noticing it more these days? 🤔

I think one of the biggest things that can hold us back is comparison.

It’s so easy to look around and think:

“She’s doing better than me.”
“He started after me and is already further ahead.”
“Why is everyone else growing faster?”

I’ve caught myself doing it too.

But the truth is, we never really know what someone’s journey looked like to get where they are today.

We don’t see the years of learning.
The mistakes.
The setbacks.
The moments they wanted to quit but kept going anyway.

Success isn’t about who gets there first.
It’s about showing up, learning, growing, and staying consistent.

I’ve learned that when I spend less time watching what everyone else is doing and more time focusing on my own goals, I feel happier and make more progress.

The only person I’m trying to be better than is the person I was yesterday. 💛

So if you’ve been comparing yourself to someone else lately, this is your reminder:

Stay in your lane.
Keep going.
Your journey is yours for a reason. ✨

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that life gets a whole lot better when we cheer each other on instead of competing. There’s enough success, happiness, and opportunity for everyone. The strongest women I know are the ones who encourage, support, and celebrate other women. 💕

Bittersweet day tomorrow… 🏕️💛

After many memories and adventures, our camper will be heading to its new home tomorrow.

While it’s never easy saying goodbye to something that’s been part of so many good times, I’m grateful for all the memories we made. Wishing the new owners lots of campfires, laughter, and wonderful adventures ahead. 😊

Today’s outdoor plans have officially been cancelled due to the fact that I’m not interested in freezing.

I’ll be staying inside where it’s warm, with a cup of tea and zero regrets. ☕❄️💛
