Good morning!
Just sharing!
A season of miracles!
“For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord gives rain on the land.’” (1 Kings 17:14 NIV)
seasons of pain, drought, famine, and hopelessness, God moves in miraculous ways! After the brook dried up, God sent Elijah to a widow in Zarephath, a woman who was preparing to die with her son because they had nothing left. When Elijah asked her to make him bread, she expressed her hopelessness—there was only enough flour and oil for one last meal. But Elijah, confident in God’s provision, told her that her flour and oil would never run out as long as the drought lasted. Listen to his boldness and confidence.
Elijah knew this was a season of miracles! God provided not only for Elijah but for the widow and her son as well. In a time when resources were scarce, God multiplied what little they had, and He can do the same for us!
This is the God we serve—the One who takes our little and makes it more than enough!
Amen!
