We would like to take a moment to express our gratitude for all of you who came for a glass and stayed for the sunset. Who danced at Music in the Vineyard, brought your out-of-town cousins, celebrated birthdays on the patio, and asked our team the best questions about what’s in your glass.

To our neighbors, our regulars, and every first-time visitor who wandered up the drive: thank you. You are the reason this place feels special.

✨W**e Wednesday Spotlight: 2025 Pinot Gris Rouge 🍷

This one was a bit of a surprise! What started as an unconventional experiment of fermenting Pinot Gris on its skins wasn’t necessarily planned to become a yearly w**e, but after becoming a fan favourite, we couldn’t stop there. ❤️

Our 2025 Pinot Gris Rouge is light-bodied and ruby-tinted, bursting with notes of summer cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry, with hints of wild fennel pollen and saffron. Bright acidity and silky tannins create a beautifully balanced and refreshing finish.

🍴Pair it with: roasted duck, charcuterie, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, or soft cheeses. It’s especially delicious with foods that bring out its bright fruit and savoury character.

🍇 We wouldn’t be a w**ery without our amazing grapes! 🍇

We spend months, sometimes years, patiently watching our vines grow, waiting for those little grapes to ripen and become something truly special. And we can’t wait to see what they become. 🍷

There’s more to grapes than just white and purple! They come in all sorts of colours, shades and stages red, green, purple, pink, yellow and everything in between. They’re full of little surprises, and every variety has its own unique character. 🍇✨

But once they’re ready… they don’t stay on the vine for long!

Harvest means getting our crews together, heading into the vineyard and carefully picking the grapes at just the right moment. From these beautiful little clusters begins the journey from vine to w**e. 🍷

A lot of patience, hard work and love goes into every bottle and it all starts right here, on the vine. ❤️🍇

🧡 Truth & Reconciliation Day 🧡

Today, we take a moment to honour the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for and stewarded this land since time immemorial.

We feel incredibly fortunate to grow our grapes here in the Cowichan Valley, surrounded by the beauty of Vancouver Island. 🍇

This is more than beautiful land, it holds generations of history, culture, knowledge and connection. We are grateful to work on this land and have a responsibility to care for it, respect it, and continue learning.

With gratitude, we honour the Quw’utsun, Malahat, Tsawout, Tsartlip and Pauquachin Peoples, and all Indigenous Peoples whose traditional territories we call home. 🧡

TIME TO SWITCH OVER INTO FALL!

As summer fades into fall, we’re wrapping up an incredible harvest and switching gears to focus on what happens next, and that’s making the w**e for you! 🍇✨

We’ve truly loved spending the summer with all of you, from live music weekends and Art Walks to pottery nights, weddings, Arbutus Ridge Club events, and so many other special days in the vineyard. ❤️

Now, as the days get shorter and the weather starts to cool, we’re moving into our fall hours:

🍷 Friday–Sunday | 12–5 PM

And don’t worry… there’s still plenty of reason to come visit! Our cozy indoor seating and fireplace are ready for you, and we’ll have blankets for those who still want to enjoy the outdoors. 🔥🧣
