Folks,

Winter weather brings a slow in the "field" business, but increases in the forestry attachment sales across Canada. Now that most of my work is in doors, it means more time is devoted to updating websites and solidifying new relationships with suppliers, and removing suppliers that just don't make the cut!

First thing, our web site. I've been updating the design of the site to be a bit more friendly and not as "busy". Big thing for this year is the addition of the online store! Whats the purpose of this? To remove friction in the transaction process. Now you can simply go online, click "Shop Now", select the product you want and complete the transaction. Easy peasy! Now, there will always be stumbles during the initial implementation of anything, no doubt, but nothing we can't work through and get right. Our focus right now is on the Diamond Mowers line of forestry units. They offer exceptional products, amazing customer service and offer total commitment for resolution (exactly what I look for in suppliers) More suppliers will be added over the next couple months for your convenience.

Why don't we chase after some of the larger forestry companies for opportunities? The same reason why our sideline business, Jays Skid Steer Service focuses on gravel driveway restorations. We like to remain experts in the field we sell and not a general distributor of all (Doesn't mean I can't help you get what you're after either) When you become general, you're knowledge is very minimal about what you're selling. You'll end up with the wrong configuration for your machinery, which will cost you a lot of money and time, and increase your frustration through the roof. Trust me, I know all to well.
