Our call volume is insanely high right now due to the storm last night.
Many baby birds got blown out of the nest.
If the baby songbird(s) are not injured and you can’t get them back into the original nest follow these steps:
- take an old plastic container such as a margarine continue.
- make holes in the bottom
-line it with dried grass/leaves
- place baby birds in there
- fasten that container to a tree off the ground as close to the original nest as you can.
- use a phone and wifi speaker to amplify the sound the baby birds are making to help the parents locate them.
Monitor the situation from a distance and make sure the parents start tending to their babies.
