𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆? 👀

Walang masama sa pagiging employee. A job gives us stability, experience, and a way to provide for the people we love.

But imagine building something alongside your job, something that could eventually give you more options.

More income.
More opportunities.
More time.
More choices for your family.

Hindi kailangan iwan ang trabaho para magsimula.
Sometimes, the smartest move is to keep your stability while quietly building your freedom.

Because the goal isn't just to earn more.

A good reminder this Labour Day! 🇨🇦

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆!

Today is a reminder to recognize the work, skills, and contributions that keep our families, communities, and country moving forward.

There's nothing wrong with building a career you're proud of.

But the skills, experience, and time we develop through work can also become the foundation for something more.

For some, that means growing in their career.

For others, it might mean learning a new skill, starting a side business, creating another source of income, or simply building more options for the future.

There's no single blueprint for everyone.

Whatever you're building, keep learning. Keep growing.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲... 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻

Who would've thought that our very first time seeing Sakura trees in full bloom wouldn't be in Japan... but right here in Canada?

These photos were taken at 𝙃𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠, 𝙏𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙤, surrounded by actual Japanese cherry blossom trees.

What made the experience even more interesting was learning the story behind them.

In 2001, through the 𝙎𝙖𝙠𝙪𝙧𝙖 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩, 34 Sakura trees were donated and planted in High Park, including the ‘𝘈𝘬𝘦𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘰’ and ‘𝘍𝘶𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘻𝘰’ varieties.

But Toronto's Sakura story actually goes back even further.

In 1959, the people of Tokyo gifted Toronto 2,000 Japanese cherry blossom trees in appreciation of Toronto accepting relocated Japanese Canadians following the World War II. Over the years, more Sakura trees have been planted, continuing a long-standing symbol of friendship between Japan and Canada. 🇯🇵🤝🇨🇦

I've always thought that if I wanted to see Sakura trees like these in person, I'd have to travel all the way to Japan someday.

Turns out, our first Sakura experience happened right here in Canada.

I'm sure seeing them in Japan will be a completely different experience. But for now, this was definitely worth seeing in person.

𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀.

We spend so much time chasing goals, building something for ourselves, and thinking about what’s next that sometimes we forget to appreciate what’s already here.

Keep working. Keep dreaming. But make time to actually live along the way.

Life isn’t only about the destination. Enjoy the view, too.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴?

Life gets busy. We have work, bills, family, responsibilities... and sometimes the things we want to build for ourselves keep getting pushed to “maybe later.”

𝙄 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙩.

That’s also why I believe you don’t necessarily have to drop everything you’re already doing just to start exploring another path.

This digital business can be built alongside your current responsibilities, with training, mentorship, systems, and a community to guide you as you learn.

It’s not about getting rich overnight, and it’s definitely not something that builds itself.

It’s simply an opportunity to learn new skills, build something of your own, and potentially create another source of income over time.

Sometimes we’re so focused on where we’re trying to go that we forget to notice how much we’ve already changed.

And the funny thing is, growth doesn’t always feel like growth while it’s happening.

Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes nobody notices it but you.

So here are 7 signs you might be growing… even when it doesn’t feel like it. 🌱

1️⃣ You protect your peace more than you used to.

2️⃣ You don’t need everyone to understand or approve of your choices anymore.

3️⃣ Your circle may be smaller, but the relationships you keep feel more genuine.

4️⃣ You’ve become more intentional with your money, time, and energy.

5️⃣ You’re learning that rest isn’t something you have to feel guilty about.

6️⃣ You’re more interested in building a life you actually enjoy than proving something to other people.

7️⃣ You’re slowly learning to stop comparing your timeline with everyone else’s.

Growth doesn’t always come with a promotion, more money, a new house, or some big announcement.

Sometimes, you only notice it when you look back and realize…

you don’t think, react, or live the same way you used to.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁. 🥢

Sharing something I actually enjoy doing… 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Been cooking quite a bit these past few weeks, trying different dishes whenever I get the chance.

There’s just something about being in the kitchen, experimenting with flavors, and seeing how everything turns out.

Nothing fancy. Just something I genuinely enjoy doing whenever I have the time.

𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁. 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆. 😅

𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝗯. 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿. 𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺?

Because I realized having a career and building something of your own don’t have to be opposite choices.

I can be grateful for the career I have while still wanting to create more options for myself and my family.

So I started building a digital business alongside my career.

And honestly, it has pushed me to learn things completely outside my usual work.

Along the way, I’ve also had the opportunity to help others discover the business, with some eventually deciding to start building for themselves too.

But I’m still building mine.

Still learning. Still improving. Still showing up.

And that’s something I’ve come to appreciate about this journey.

You can keep your job, handle your responsibilities, and slowly build something on the side.

Not because you’re chasing overnight success.

But because another potential source of income, another set of skills, and more options for your future are worth building toward.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵.
