Today, we celebrate more than a country.
We celebrate a community built on diversity, compassion, and resilience.

With recent headlines and unsettling rhetoric coming from outside our borders, it’s natural to feel uneasy. But this is also a moment to reflect on who we are.

Canadians are not only known for being polite.
We are known for showing up — for justice, for each other, and for the values that matter most: inclusion, respect, and equity.

While we as a nation still have MUCH to learn and grow, let this Canada Day remind us that kindness is strength.
That unity matters.
That our future is shaped by courage, care, and community — not fear.
