Plastic Extruder Operator - Shift Work

Training that would be an asset but is not required:

Plastic Extrusion skills (sizing, shaping, straightening)

Ability to sample dies, using various thermoplastic materials

Material properties and characteristics (flow, viscosity, smell, pressure)

Troubleshooting and problem solving

Use of Downstream equipment

Working knowledge of calipers, technical drawings and tolerances

Knowledge of statistical techniques and quality control

ISO Systems

Computer skills

Previous plastics or manufacturing experience

Other requirements:

Shift Work

Minimum education required prior to hiring is Grade 12 or equivalent

Good Math and English skills

Good social and communication skills

Good paperwork and recording skills
