Let us make a few decluttering decisions a little easier for you!
If you have any of these items in your home, give yourself permission to set aside guilt and/or fear, and just send them to the appropriate place; the trash in the case of anything broken, stained, or personalized; donation if the item is in like new condition and someone else would benefit from it.

We added a new member to the crew just over a month ago (There’s a wee babe under that blue fleece bunting in the baby carrier!)
For the next several months our account will (of course) be quieter than it was earlier in the year, but will still be active.
While I’m on maternity leave, I’ll likely focus more on providing organizing content to encourage you in your home organization, with home reno and/or home DIY content on occasion, if I come across anything that could benefit you!
For now, with the holidays upon us I’d love to hear from you! Do you have plans you’re excited for? Is there something on your holiday schedule that’s making you feel overwhelmed? Have any awesome tips (of any nature!) to share that a mama could use around the holidays?!

Yesterday’s project. It was a personal project so it took longer than it should have (because when you’re working in your own home you’re also going to do the laundry, run an errand in the middle of the project, stop for supper… all the distractions 🙃) but it’s so satisfying seeing the difference a little refresh can make!

Which system does your family need most?!
1. The hanging station to reduce piles of wet, stinky clothing? (And the scramble when fresh swimsuits are needed)
2. The summer drive vehicle essentials to reduce mess in the vehicle and make drives easier?
3. The summer go bag for impromptu stops at the park, pool, or a friend’s house and to avoid that last minute scramble getting out the door?

Things have been quiet with our account, as we’ve had some exciting changes in our home life, which has meant navigating changes to work life.
Although we haven’t clocked much time in carpentry and organizing lately, I got to spend a few days last week back at it. I got to spend some time laying flooring with my Dad and although I was sitting on my behind by the time I got halfway through screwing down a subfloor, the work still got done!
We’re beyond happy and can’t wait for the Fall when we can welcome our new little crew member 💚

Sometimes it’s a lot of small jobs that make a big impact at the end of a session.
During this deep cleaning and home maintenance session we;
-Deep cleaned the client’s kitchen cabinet exteriors, some key cabinet interiors, the underside of the upper cabinets, and the backsplash
-Reattached a piece of sliding kitchen drawer/shelf hardware
-Closed up joints around window trims that had pulled apart
-Reattached a piece of door trim that kept falling off
-Scrubbed the kitchen tile grout

70’s carpet & trim = out!
Vinyl plank flooring & modern trim = in!
The homeowners even repainted the room from purple to white for a look that’s both crisp and cozy at the same time.
We are loving this transformation 💚

We’ve got 1-2 sessions per month available for tackling your to-do list!
Our most recent home maintenance client asked “Do you fix IKEA furniture?” My answer? “Sure!”… It only took about 10 minutes for me to fix an issue she was having with her dresser and to show her how she can fix it herself if it ever becomes an issue again with further use/wear and tear.
Here’s a list of some of the to-do’s we can cross off your list:
-Touch up paint
-Hang curtain rods/curtains
-Assemble furniture and closet systems
-Deep clean (trim, kitchen appliances, windows, etc)
-Declutter closets, drawers, cabinets, and other small spaces
-Repair minor damage to walls, railings, stairs, etc
-Deep clean/maintenance on vacuum cleaners
-Change cabinet hardware & door k***s
-Hang artwork, pictures, shelves, and mirrors
-Repair furniture
-Re-pot plants
-Replace/freshen up silicone

🚘 The weather is nice enough to open all the vehicle doors and empty everything out!
🛍️ Put everything in bags and take it inside to sort
📺 Put on your favourite tv show or podcast and start sorting!
🗑️ Toss the garbage
🗄️ Put away items that belong in the house/garage
👝 Organize items that return to the car into pouches or containers, or designate a console in order to keep things tidy when returned to the vehicle.
