TRAFFIC UPDATE (October 9, 2025, 2:44 p.m.) – Clarenville RCMP advises that the Trans-Canada Highway has reopened to all traffic. Thank you to all motorists for your patience and caution during the closure.

UPDATE: (October 9, 2025, 1:50 p.m.) The TCH approximately 2 km west of Jack’s Pond Park (near Arnold’s Cove) is now partially reopened, to one lane of alternating traffic.

Motorists can continue to expect delays.

Please continue to slow down and use caution in the area.

⛔️ The TCH approximately 2 km west of Jack’s Pond Park (near Arnold’s Cove) is currently closed to travel in both directions, as Clarenville RCMP responds to a serious collision.

Motorists should expect delays for the foreseeable future and a large emergency response in the area. Please use an alternate route if possible.

⚠️ Please slow down, move over for emergency responders and travel in the area with caution. Updates will be provided.
