🌈 Sometimes you have to believe in what you can’t see yet.

When we started this business, we didn’t know exactly where it would lead us. We didn’t have all the answers. We were nervous, skeptical, and definitely wondered if we were making the right decision.

But we knew one thing — we wanted MORE.

More breathing room financially.
More flexibility.
More choices.
And most importantly, more time for moments like this. ❤️

A rainbow doesn’t guarantee there’s a pot of gold waiting at the end… and neither does starting a business.

You still have to take the first step. You still have to put in the work. You still have to keep going even when the results aren’t immediate.

But you’ll never know what could be waiting on the other side if you’re too afraid to take the jump. 🌈

For us, this journey has always been about creating more possibilities for our families — and showing our kids that sometimes the biggest changes start with simply being brave enough to try.

Maybe that rainbow is your sign. 😉🌈

Sometimes working on yourself is the work. 🤍

We’ve been a little quiet over here.

Lindsay has been keeping things going behind the scenes, but if I’m being transparent, I’ve been struggling.

Grief is strange. Some days I feel like I’m finding my footing again, and other days just getting through normal life takes everything I have.

At the same time, I’m trying to take care of my own mental health while making sure my daughter has the support she needs too.

This morning, while sitting outside her play therapy session, I saw this, The 8 C’s of Self.

Compassion. Curiosity. Calm. Confidence. Clarity. Courage. Creativity. Connectedness.

And it made me realize how much time I’ve spent thinking about what I should be doing.

I should be posting.
I should be working.
I should be more productive.
I should be further ahead.

But maybe this season isn’t about doing more.

Maybe it’s about giving myself compassion, finding courage, creating calm and staying connected while we figure out this new version of life.

Digital Hustle Duo isn’t going anywhere. But neither are we going to pretend that life doesn’t happen behind the posts.

So there’s no big comeback or sales pitch today.

Just a reminder I needed, and maybe someone else needs too:

Summer was BUSY ☀️🦁 
 
Between sports, family plans, day trips like African Lion Safari, and soaking up as much time with our kids as we could… there wasn’t exactly a whole lot of “extra” time lying around. 😂 
 
And somewhere in between all of that, we still fit our business in. 
 
Did we work on it every single day? Nope. 
Could we have done more? Of course. 
 
But that’s one of the things we appreciate most about building this business, 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐭. 
 
Does it take work to build something successful? Absolutely. We would never tell you otherwise.
 
But the whole reason we started this wasn’t to add another stressful thing to our already busy lives. 
 
It was to build something that could HELP our families. ❤️ 
 
Something we could work on during the pockets of time we have available, while still being the moms who go on the day trips, sit at the games, make the summer memories and actually get to be there for it all.
 
Some seasons we’ll have more time to give it. 
Some seasons we’ll have less. 
 
And this summer? We chose a lot of memories. ☀️ 
 
The business was still there when we had time to come back to it, and for two busy moms, that flexibility is exactly what we were looking for.

This is what building something on the side actually looks like. 💻☕️

No fancy office. No perfect setup. Just a laptop, a notebook and a little time carved out of an ordinary day.

When we started Digital Hustle Duo, we didn’t have it all figured out, we just knew we wanted to learn something new and see where it could take us.

And honestly? We’re still learning, still figuring things out and still showing up. 🤍

Sometimes starting is the biggest step.

Find yourself friends who will still be beside you screaming the same songs 10 years later. 😂🎶

Somewhere along the way, seeing The Chicks together became our thing, and I absolutely love that it has.

Life has changed A LOT between these three pictures. We’ve changed too. But nights like this are such a good reminder to keep making time for the people and the things that make you happy. ❤️

Because at the end of the day, these are the moments we’ll remember.

Same girls. Same obsession. A whole lot more memories. 🤠

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately…
and honestly, this is why. 🤎

This past weekend we traded our phones, work and to-do lists for cowboy boots, country music and a weekend with some of our favourite people.

And somewhere between the mud, the singing, the laughing and finally getting to see The Chicks live, we were reminded of something.

We never started this because we wanted another job.

We started because we wanted MORE LIFE outside of our jobs.

More weekends like this.
More trips.
More memories.
More freedom to say yes when something fun comes up.

We’re still building. We’re still learning. And no, we definitely don’t have it all figured out.

But this weekend was a pretty good reminder of why we started.

And now… back to building something that hopefully gives us a whole lot more days like this. 🤎
