When I began thinking about creating an online database for the BC arts sector in early 2024, I honestly never imagined that it would end up with this many grant & funding resources. When we launched last April, we started with 657 records (at the time I was amazed at that number)...but 10 months later, the database just keeps growing!

And I am thrilled to report that we have a LOT more to upload!

A fund that raised $2 million for victims and families after the Lapu Lapu Festival attack will be converted into a long-term endowment for the Filipino community.

Advocacy group Filipino BC says the Vancouver Foundation will establish the Kapwa Strong Fund as a long-term endowment to provide “support for the Filipino community for generations to come.”

This is a great new program I stumbled across the other day...targeted to for folks interested in participating in (arts & cultural) training, research, conferences or other events in an eligible Indo-Pacific country; OR hosting such events (with a partner) either away or in Canada.
