This Friday on LET’s Network The Podcast

Think you need to be an extrovert to be good at networking? Think again.

This week, Emily and Talia sit down with Clarity Coaching & Development , President of Clarity Coaching & Development and Canada’s Networking Expert®, for a conversation about what actually makes someone good at building meaningful professional relationships.

Spoiler: it has a lot more to do with curiosity and listening than working the room.

In this episode, we talk about:
• Why curiosity is one of your best networking tools
• How introverts can thrive in networking environments
• Emotional regulation and its impact on communication
• Setting boundaries without guilt
• Using active listening to build stronger relationships
• Why human connection still matters in an increasingly AI-driven world

Jolene also shares practical insights on body language, communication styles, LinkedIn, personal branding, and her “No Thank You Forever” approach to protecting your time and energy.

Whether networking comes naturally to you or makes you want to hide in the bathroom until the event is over, there’s something in this conversation for you.

New episode drops Friday on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music.

Our September LET’s Network event is officially on the calendar!

Join us on September 16 at The Boathouse Cafe for an evening of connection, conversation, and practical business advice with our guest speaker, .lidstone , Founder of the CEO Freedom Academy.

Diana works with women entrepreneurs who are ready to stop being the “Chief Everything Officer” and start leading their businesses like the CEOs they are.

Together, we’ll talk about creating smarter systems, increasing profitability, stepping out of the day-to-day overwhelm, and building a business that gives you more freedom instead of demanding more from you.

Whether you’re growing your business, feeling stretched a little too thin, or simply ready to think differently about how you lead, we’d love to have you in the room.

📅 September 16 | 6:30–9 PM
📍 The Boathouse Café, Kemptville
🤝 Hosted by LET’s Network

And there’s more happening with Diana this September!

On September 25, Diana is hosting SHIFT in Smiths Falls: one day, one room, and just 60 seats for established business owners who are ready to change the way they think about, talk about, and lead their businesses.
Start with us on September 16, then keep the momentum going at SHIFT later in the month.

Tickets for our September LET’s Network event are available now!

We often celebrate being busy like it’s the ultimate measure of success.

But a calendar packed with meetings, events, and to-do lists doesn’t automatically mean your business is thriving.

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is create space. Space to think, to rest, to work on your business instead of constantly working in it.

Sustainable growth isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what matters most.

What does a healthy business look like to you? Let us know in the comments.

There’s a difference between attending a networking event and becoming part of a community.

At LET’s Network, our goal has never been to simply fill a room. We’re building an ecosystem where women can connect, learn, collaborate, and grow - whether that’s through our events, podcast, workshops, or the relationships that continue long after the conversation ends.

We believe that when one woman succeeds, it strengthens the entire community. That’s why we’re creating a space where support comes before competition, collaboration is celebrated, and everyone has a seat at the table.

Because building a business is hard enough. You shouldn’t have to do it alone.
