My story begins with a poignant quote that I found on my Dad's obituary: "God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and whispered 'Come to Me.'" When my Dad passed away in 2016, I was forced to confront the reality of life's brevity and the importance of making the most of our time here. For years, I had been working tirelessly at my job, driving 2.5
hours each way to visit my Mom at Dad's bedside, and never taking the time to relax or go on vacation. I was so focused on my work that I missed out on many of life's important moments. But when my Dad passed away, something in me shifted. I realized that I had been dedicating so much of my time and energy to making others successful, that I was neglecting my own happiness and well-being. My Dad, who had worked tirelessly to provide for his family and raise five children, had passed away without ever getting the chance to truly enjoy the fruits of his labor. So, on that fateful day when I said goodbye to my Dad, I also made a promise to myself: it was time for a change. I wanted to experience the freedom that comes with having control over my time and my life. No longer would I let work consume me or keep me from the important things. Today, I wake up excited about the possibilities that each day holds. I savour my morning cup of coffee, never rushing through it like I used to. I make time for the people and experiences that truly matter - whether it's spending extra time with my Mom, creating memories with friends and family, or taking a much-needed vacation. In the end, it's all about achieving time freedom - the ability to choose how we spend our time and to live life on our own terms. Thanks to my Dad's legacy, I'm finally living life to the fullest, making the most of every moment, and cherishing every precious memory along the way. Are you ready to live your life on your own terms? Thank you so much for visiting my page. Sherry 🙏🏻
