Today, September 30, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors of residential schools, and recognize the families and communities who continue to carry the lasting impacts of the residential school system.

We reflect on this history and its ongoing and intergenerational impacts, while honouring the experiences and voices of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples and communities across Canada.

May this day serve as a meaningful reminder of the importance of truth, remembrance, understanding, and our continued journey toward reconciliation.

Connection matters.

A new Canadian survey found that nearly half of employees say workplace social events help strengthen relationships with colleagues — with many also pointing to a greater sense of belonging, better collaboration, and improved morale.

It’s a timely reminder that workplace culture is shaped not only by policies and processes, but also by the opportunities people have to connect, build relationships, and feel part of a team.

Creating intentional opportunities for connection can play an important role in strengthening workplace relationships and fostering a greater sense of belonging.

June is Men's Mental Health Month.

Meaningful support doesn't always require the right words.

Sometimes it's checking in.
Sometimes it's listening.
Sometimes it's simply letting someone know they're not alone.

A conversation may seem small, but it can make a difference.

While progress has been made, many men still face pressure to appear strong, handle challenges on their own, or avoid asking for help. Creating space for honest conversations can help reduce stigma and make support feel more accessible when it's needed.

Supporting men's mental health starts with creating environments where asking for help is met with understanding rather than judgment.
