🎄 IS IT JUST ME, OR DOES CHRISTMAS SNEAK UP ON EVERYONE ELSE, TOO? 😂

Isn't it funny how we can KNOW something is coming and STILL procrastinate?

Take Christmas, for example. 🎁

It comes EVERY SINGLE YEAR. It's not exactly a surprise! 🤣

And yet, here we are, less than 11 weeks away, and I'm over here wondering where the heck the time went!

Am I prepared? Absolutely NOT. 🙈

My usual strategy? Wait until the last minute, then kick into full-on GET IT DONE mode and fly by the seat of my pants!

Buy the gifts. Wrap the gifts. Plan the meals. Clean the house. Remember all the things I forgot. Repeat. 😂

And then we wonder why the holidays feel so stressful!

Maybe this year we should try something different… 🤔

But let's be honest, old habits die hard!

If you could bring in an extra $500, $1,000 or more each month, what would that change in your life?

For me, this is one of the reasons I started building an online business at 52. I wanted to explore another income opportunity while still working my full-time job and planning for retirement.
I'm not here to promise anyone a specific income. Results vary, and building a business takes time, effort and learning.
But I believe it's worth asking ourselves what we'd do with more options. 💙

Remember when a trip to the grocery store didn't feel like a major financial decision? 😅🛒
Lately, it seems like everything costs more.
💙 Gas
💙 Groceries
💙 Utilities
💙 Insurance
💙 The everyday essentials
And while our paycheques might look the same, what they actually cover feels very different.
This is one of the reasons I started my online business at 52.
I wasn't looking to work more hours or take on another job that would mean even less time for myself and my family.
I wanted to explore another option. Something I could build alongside my full-time job, learn at my own pace, and potentially create an additional income stream over time.
Because if the cost of living has taught me anything, it's that having options matters. 💙
I'm not saying there's a magic solution to rising costs. But I do believe it's worth exploring what possibilities are out there rather than assuming things have to stay the same.

One of the things I love about the online business model I chose is what I DON’T have to do. 🙌

❌ No inventory filling up my house
❌ No home parties
❌ No cold-calling friends and family
❌ No storing products or packing orders
❌ No complicated tech experience required

When I started at 52, I wasn't looking for something that would make my life more complicated.

I wanted something I could learn step-by-step, build alongside my full-time job, and work from wherever I have an internet connection.

And honestly, knowing I didn't have to become a salesperson, warehouse manager or tech expert made taking that first step a whole lot less intimidating. 😂

I didn’t start my online business because I was looking for another job.
I started because I began thinking seriously about my future. ❤️
I knew I wanted to retire at 60, but I also knew that simply having a retirement date wasn’t enough. I wanted to start creating more options for myself before I got there.

More flexibility.
More time.
More freedom.
More opportunities to do the things I love.

So, at 52, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and build something of my own—alongside my full-time job.

Was I nervous? Absolutely.

Did I know exactly what I was doing? Definitely not. 😂

But I knew one thing:
I didn’t want to look back five years from now and wish I had started.

If you’ve been thinking about doing something different for your future, maybe this is your reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to be willing to take the first step.

For me, it was never about wanting to work more.
I already had a full-time job.

What I wanted was another option. 💙

An option that I could build alongside the life I already had.

Something that could give me the opportunity to create additional income without taking on another job that would mean more evenings, more weekends and more time away from home.

I started this journey at 52, and I definitely didn't have it all figured out.

But I was willing to learn.
I was willing to grow.
And most importantly, I was willing to try.

Because I started thinking about the woman I want to be when I reach retirement—and the life I want to create before I get there.

Maybe you don't need another job either.

Maybe you just need another option. ✨

Don’t think about it too long.

What’s the first thing that came to mind?

Maybe it’s starting a business.

Maybe it’s travelling somewhere you’ve always dreamed of.

Maybe it’s changing careers, writing that book, learning something new, or simply creating a life that feels more like you.

I started my online business at 52. 💙

I didn't start because I had everything figured out. In fact, I had plenty of doubts.

Was I too old?
Was it too late?
Could I really learn something completely new?

But I kept coming back to one thought:

If I don't try, I'll never know what's possible.

So I took the leap.

I started learning new skills, stepped outside my comfort zone, and began building something of my own while continuing to work my full-time job.

And the truth is, this journey has become about so much more than business.

It's about confidence, growth, purpose and creating more options for my future.

If you're in your 40s, 50s or beyond and you've been thinking, “Maybe it's too late for me…”

I'm here to tell you:
It's not too late.

You don't have to know everything.

You don't have to feel completely ready.

You just have to be willing to take that first step.
