This week I had the privilege of sitting in a room with an impressive bunch at Atlantic Business Magazine's 28th annual Top 50 CEO awards.

We leaned in for real talk with Dawn Chafe and Don Mills. It's an inspiration to be in rooms with so many ambitious leaders who have the vision to drive our economy forward.

Special thanks to my new friend-preneur Rose Dalrymple for inviting me on this road trip to Moncton to attend, learn, and be awed. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to connect with fantastic people this week!

Quite a few years ago, I published a poem in an anthology. The single published poem was a big win. It was a step towards my lifelong wish to write a book.

A single, focused win is a powerful step. As an Accredited Online Business Manager (OBM), I focus on moving clients forward one step at a time to reach their goals.

My current step forward is contributing a chapter to the multi-author book, "From Inspiration to Success: The Entrepreneurial Journey," curated by Cathy Derksen. I’ll share more about this closer to the publishing date!

As I reflect on my chapter, I’m inspired by the entrepreneurs I work with, achieving their goals step by step. My team manages operations, keeping you grounded and giving you bandwidth.

Last year I was invited to contribute a chapter to a multi-author book called "From Inspiration to Success: the Entrepreneurial Journey." My chapter explores my decision to leave the safety net of employment and my first year in business. I'm beyond grateful for so many of you who have been part of my journey!

This week I'm grateful for Elaine Strohm, founder of Crafted to Scale—my online business manager and the perfect example of what Thomas Saller and I discussed on this week's podcast.

✨ Holiday Gratitude ✨

Pausing for the holidays makes me think about entrepreneurs, those highly driven individuals who work so hard and carry so much.

As I prepare for another busy quarter, I'm intentionally creating moments of calm. My hope is that you give yourself permission to do the same.
