♾️Leadership Mastery | Where leadership 🌱meets alignment

I am an evidence-based certified leadership coach and organizational learning and effectiveness specialist with a Master's in leadership and learning. I offer a different approach to organizational change. I ask questions, empower learning and accountability, and create an authentic atmosphere for transformative, open dialogue and action. My coaching methodology and the learning and buy-in it gene

rates set me apart from traditional learning approaches. Individuals and teams develop a new self-understanding and way of seeing others. This approach develops a new (or like new) leadership language with tools to see and solve problems, fill gaps, build talent, and create a continuous consciousness and action of learning. My research and expertise include reflective and reflexive learning, workplace culture, organizational change, and systems thinking, all of which involve an interweave of leadership and equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. I spend most of my time in the corporate sector supporting executives, working with staff to remove barriers, fostering high performers, co-creating systems, and generating productive, fulfilled cultures of lifelong learning and growth. I have far-reaching expertise eliciting forward movement in the most difficult to reach. I developed a leadership framework that underpins my thinking and work and has had the privilege of researching and quantifying this framework through an academic lens (see below). The rest of my professional time is spent in my private coaching practice, speaking engagements, and facilitating dialogue. I share my experience in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, my education, and my interest in building systems and asking key questions to move people and companies forward. I am proud to serve as chair of the Body Brave Board of Directors. I invite you to connect with me in person, on the phone or via Zoom. Talking will help us both understand and create a plan for you and your team.

You often see leadership ideas on this page.

The frameworks.
The insights.
The reflections.

But behind all of that is something simple.

A deep curiosity about people, growth, and how organizations can work better for the humans inside them.

Much of my work happens in conversation with leaders who are reflecting deeply on how they lead and how they can become even better leaders for themselves and for the people around them, at work and at home.

Leadership, to me, is the infinite journey of learning, growth, and unlocking potential within ourselves and in others.

That journey asks us to keep learning.

To question our assumptions.
To notice our biases.
To challenge our judgments.

And to remain open enough to expand how we think, how we lead, and how we support the people around us.

💚💙

Culture is shaped by the conversations we are willing to have.

Avoiding them shapes culture, too.

Leadership begins when you access your courage to engage.
—At work and at home.

What conversation have you been putting off?

What might change once you have it?

New growth reminds us that we are transitioning from time beneath the surface, reflecting and preparing.

Now we enter a season of renewal and new possibilities.🌱

What might be emerging for you right now?💚

The other night, I sat around a table with 3 incredible women, and the conversation turned to equal pay.

They shared stories from 30 years ago about being paid less than men for doing the same work.

The impact was demoralizing.
When one of the women finally found out about the wage difference.

She did NOT accept it.
And challenged the male leader.
They caved, and she left anyway - and so did the other women.

That kind of courage changes systems!!

Listening to them - I was completely inspired and so damn proud.

Listening also made me think of my own experiences and so many others' stories.

These 3 women reminded me how much progress has been made and also that the work toward true equity is not finished.

Moments like this also remind me that leadership often begins when we question the status quo.

On International Women’s Day, I am grateful for the women who spoke up and helped shape the opportunities that followed.

Proud to support the campaign.

The loudest voice shaping your leadership
isn’t your boss or the team around you.

It’s the voice in your own head
your inner critic.

It might sound and feel like it’s protecting you.
But often it’s just holding you back
and keeping you small and stuck.

Leaders who master themselves
don’t eliminate their inner critic altogether.

They learn to notice it,
not believe it,
but allow it to inform them
so they can move forward
and lead as they are meant to.

Uncertainty tests leadership. Learning strengthens it.

When you’re feeling challenged, personally or professionally, pause.

It’s Ok not to have the answer.

Step back and ask:
What don’t I know?
What do I need to learn?

We shift out of fear and into hope and opportunity when we move into learning.🌱

One of the most common misconceptions about coaching is that insight is the goal.

Insight matters and it opens the door.

But transformation happens when leaders take what they’ve seen and begin to live it consistently.

Running meetings differently.
Responding with intention under pressure.
Choosing courage in hard conversations.

That’s integration. And that’s where leadership shifts.

Leading others isn’t about control or authority.
It’s about unlocking potential.

And it requires the continual refinement of one’s own self-leadership.

Where is your growth (or resistance to growth) shaping those around you— at work and home?
