Seeing the Graco XM PFP systems in person was honestly on another level.

These aren’t your everyday paint sprayers. These rigs are designed for plural-component industrial coatings and passive fire protection materials, some of the heaviest, most demanding coatings used in the industry.

Dual Graco Check-Mate pumps, heated lines, precise ratio control, massive fluid delivery, and the capability to spray extremely high-build materials used for structural steel, marine, and industrial protection applications.

Some of these coatings can be applied at incredible thicknesses up to an inch thick compared to conventional coatings, which makes the engineering behind these systems pretty unbelievable to see up close.

These Graco King units are designed for high-pressure industrial coatings like epoxies, urethanes, protective coatings, fireproofing, tank coatings, heavy corrosion control and more.

This setup features a 70:1 ratio pump capable of producing up to 7000 PSI fluid pressure.

What does 70:1 mean?
For every 1 PSI of incoming air pressure, the pump multiplies it 70 times on the fluid side.

100 PSI air pressure = roughly 7000 PSI fluid pressure.

One thing many people overlook with these systems is AIR CONSUMPTION.

Large ratio pumps demand serious compressed air volume (CFM), especially under continuous spraying. Without adequate air supply:
• Pressure becomes inconsistent
• Spray patterns suffer
• Pumps can stall or surge
• Production slows down

These systems are built for demanding industrial environments where durability, pressure, and material handling matter more than portability.

Customer picked up this Graco LineLazer 3400 second-hand as a non-running unit after previous customer repair attempts couldn’t get it going…

After full diagnostics, we uncovered multiple issues:
• Gas-contaminated engine oil
• Carburetor problems
• Faulty transducer
• Potentiometer issues
• Damaged trigger cable
• Blocked suction system packed with old paint

Complete tear down, deep cleaning, troubleshooting, and repairs later, this machine is back in action and ready for the busy season ahead!

to the introduction of RAC tips, safety systems, contractor guns, and modern fine finish technology, seeing the evolution of Graco spray equipment in person was incredible…

Every generation solved a problem:
better control, safer operation, easier cleaning, improved finish quality, and more uptime for contractors in the field.

As a repair shop, it gives you a real appreciation for how far the industry has come and how much engineering goes into the spray tools painters rely on every day.

A huge milestone for SprayFix Solutions.

This week I officially completed Graco Master Service Training and earned my certification as a Graco Certified Master Technician.

Walking through the Graco training center and learning directly from the people behind the equipment gave me an even deeper respect for the company and industry, the technology, and the standards required to properly support contractors in the field.

This isn’t just a certificate on the wall.
It’s an investment into better diagnostics, better repairs, faster turnaround times, and a higher level of support for every customer who trusts SprayFix Solutions with their equipment.

From homeowners to professional painting contractors, my goal has always been simple:
keep your equipment running properly and keep you working.
