This is business these days. We are making a huge impact in the lives of our clients as we've taken on more caregiving services with the same quality of care you've come to love us for.

Our disabilities are really challenging us these days. We keep going but our bodies dont allow the physical labor our previous jobs required. I am making some adjustments so my work is more sustainable for me and my capacity.

We want to thank all of our clients for their patients and understanding. Being our own boss really affords us the ability to take time to heal when things flare up and we appreciate that is not easy for our clients. I assure you we are working on a means to have everyone's needs met, including our own and we are working to be as timely as possible because we miss caring for our clients and making a positive difference in their lives (they also make a positive difference in ours)

Happy Disability Pride Month!

As disabled folk ourselves, we know the importance that awareness is for our communities in the fight for equality. Disabled folk should be treated with dignity and compassion. Housing is a human right that EVERY human deserves, and the Canadian government is not ensuring that disability benefits cover the most basic of needs including rent.

Here at Ivy League, we recognize that we all have gifts to share with the world and they look different for everyone and we are building community that is inclusive and accessible for all, a safe haven of sorts for those of us that fall through the cracks.

You will be treated with dignity and compassion at Ivy League, no matter your diversity. Love heals all and its time to spread a little more of that around!

We dont just support those communities, we also find ourselves a part of all those communities. Its not virtue signaling for a trans person to stand up when it comes to trans issues. Its not virtue signaling when a person who has struggled for years defends harmful stigma of the unhoused. Its not virtue signaling unless you dont mean it.

After devastating trauma, we have spend years trying to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps only to realize that not everyone's bootstraps are long enough. We struggled immensely because of hate and greed and crime and selfishness and because a lack of community.

At Ivy League Solutions, we're building the safe, inclusive and supportive village we needed to help us in our most challenging times. Our clients range from trauma survivors, seniors, disabled folk, single mums, over worked parents, people living in inhumane conditions as my eldest once described.

When we first go into a home, there's usually a lot of shame, guilt, embarrassment. You can tell our clients are overwhelmed. We are here to help, if we cant help, we will find someone who can. We've been to hell and back and we dont want anyone else to struggle the way we have.

We love our job SOOOO much!!! This dog sitting job turned into an Ivy League Makeover. My client went on vacation for two weeks so we moved in, her dogs became family, and we cleaned and organized her whole house and are making sure she has everything she needs when she gets back.

When you choose Ivy League Solutions, you choose top notch service (which, let's be honest, is hard to come by these days) You don't have to worry when you hire us because we pay attention to every detail, we have a trauma informed background, we keep accessibility in mind (being disabled ourselves) and we are incredibly inclusive, compassionate and patient because we know life happens and we are here for you when it does.

Our clients are like family to us. There's no mess too big, no problem too small. We are here to enhance your quality of life by any means necessary. And when you choose us, you're supporting a disabled, q***r, neurodivergent family. You bring joy to our lives, meaning to our days and together we make the world a better place for everyone.
