Boom.
And just like that—I’ve completed my Master of Management in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University
I didn’t choose this program by accident. I chose it because it put me shoulder to shoulder with world-changers—people building businesses, launching movements, and driving ideas that actually make an impact. People who aren’t afraid to shake things up. People just like me.
When I walked into this program, I walked in with purpose. My three goals were crystal clear:
1. Build a Powerhouse Network of World-Changers
2. Bring My Business to Life—with Strategy and Support
3. Stop Playing Small and Go All In
Mission: Accomplished.
I’ve been in full-time school for the better part of the last six years—while also building businesses, managing family chaos, teaching, and pushing every limit I could find. And now? I’m officially on a “school” break.
Will I pursue my ?
Absolutely. Until then, I’ll continue the new journey—digging into what truly supports, sustains, and empowers new faculty in post-secondary education.
But for now? I’m focusing on two things:
💥 World domination (obviously)
💉 Refilling the Botox fund (school be expensive y'all!)
Although let’s be honest—I’ll probably bang out another Master’s program in the meantime, likely something rooted in social justice. My brain craves connection, big ideas, and the kind of critical thinking that sparks real change alongside people who are equally committed to making a difference.
That’s just how my mind works: one minute I’d rather eat my shoe than do another semester… and the next, after a short break, I’m like OMG, I need to go back to school immediately. I thrive on stimulation, knowledge, and meaningful connection.
But seriously—I do need a break
My academic path hasn’t been traditional—and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I’ve always viewed education as more than grades and credentials. To me, it’s a launchpad for transformation, collaboration, and creation. It’s where bold ideas are born, relationships are built, and real-world change takes shape.
And no, I won’t be posting my grad photo (unless we’re running a “caption this” contest—because wow – ya, no). What I will be sharing are the businesses, stories, and genius ideas of my peers—because I believe in them, and I’ll always show up for them.
A huge thank you to the professors, program staff, my incredible advisor Nadia Bonenfant, and my cohort—you’ve challenged me, cheered me on, and reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
Here’s to what’s next 🥂
