This January cover was harder for me than I expected.
Not because of the photo, but because of the fear.

I worried about what people might think.
Would it come across as self-focused? Would it feel uncomfortable? Would I second-guess myself?

But here’s the truth: I said yes because I’m proud.
Proud of the stories we told in 2025.
Proud of the families, couples, and local businesses we celebrated.
Proud of the clients we helped grow—both in print and digitally.
And proud of this incredible community we get to call home.

A Year of Joy, Gratitude & Growth isn’t just a headline, it’s been a choice.
And this cover represents choosing joy anyway, even when it feels a little scary.

Thank you, Kingsville, for trusting me with your stories.
