Last night my husband and I put sod down in our backyard. It was a lot of hard work, but I think it was so worth it!

We decided instead of hiring someone to do it for us, we would put our own skills to the test. It’s amazing what you can achieve when you set your mind to it.

I have always struggled with doing my daughters hair, mainly because it is a completely different texture than mine.
If I just wash it and comb it out it would be a big Afro.

My daughter is a girly girl. She loves to feel pretty. A lot of times she will ask me to do her hair so it can be down… but that kind of hair style takes a long time to do (especially if I’m the one trying to do it)

By having my own digital business it allows me to have the time to put towards making my daughter feel like her best self!

If anyone has some good suggestions for her next hair style I’d love to see it!

Ever feel like your 9-5 job is just glorified adult daycare—with fewer snacks and way more meetings? 🙃

I was stuck in the routine:
Wake up → rush the kids → commute → survive the day → repeat.
Oh, and don’t even ask about the laundry pile. It had its own zip code. 🧺📦

I felt confined. Like I had to choose between being a present mom or a paycheck chaser.
Spoiler alert: I chose neither.
I chose freedom—with a laptop, Wi-Fi, and a digital business that fits into my life (and my yoga pants). 💻👖

Now, I work during nap time, school time, and yes—sometimes from the bathroom, because… 🚽😂

When you look at me do you instantly think “ wow she looks super techy, she must work in the online field”

No absolutely not! And honestly I questioned if I knew enough about technology to even attempt starting my own digital business.

But that’s one of the things I love about this business. I have accessed a business in a box where I don’t need to be techy I just have to be willing to learn and be consistent!
