My Beautiful Momma!

I surprised her with this special cake on Saturday. September 25th was her 20 year anniversary since her first liver transplant. I was gone to a wedding that day so I surprised her now. She has a progressive liver disease and is currently waiting for another transplant. We knew this time would come but we were always told it would be more like 15 years. The fact that she's made it 20 years is absolutely amazing! I had planned on throwing a party but obviously with covid we could not do that. We are doing our very best to all stay healthy and safe so we can be with her as much as we can. We have no idea when we will get the call for her transplant but we are making sure we are all ready as much as possible.

We were so thankful this past weekend to be able to spend time together. We kept it small with just us and enjoyed a little family time and a lot of food!

This is one of the main reasons why I do contactless pickup as much as possible. So if you have ordered from me or do so in the future please know I am so grateful for your understanding and the privilege to create something special for your event.

On top I did some handpainted floral pallette knife work and a green transplant ribbon. My mom loves stripes so I had to use my new striping comb as well. Inside was red velvet with strawberries and chocolate ganache wrapped up in cream cheese frosting!

Pumpkin spice cake special for my friends wedding. Back when they got engaged I surprised her with a cake inspired by her favorite Starbucks drink! She loved it so much we had to make it again for her wedding!

Bottom tier was pumpkin spice cake with chocolate espresso cream and salted caramel ganache.

Top was lemon cake with strawberry raspberry filling. Whole thing covered in cream cheese frosting!

10 for a special little lady! Customized to her favorite colours of course. The flowers were more of a soft purple but pictures always mess up the colours. Maybe it's my old phone not keeping up these days.

Cakes were chocolate with salted caramel ganache and confetti with smores!

Bridal shower cake and sugar cookies! I'm loving doing matching cake and cookies. This cake was vanilla with chocolate chip cookie filling and vanilla buttercream. I think haha. This is from a bit ago they got married a few weeks ago already!

Flowers from always a great selection to mix and match.

And as always macarons from Carla I believe these had raspberry filling.

Wedding cake from a few weeks back. Love how colorful this beauty was. When it left here the flowers were coral not pink. But we did a quick swap after I heard the bride liked the pink ones most. Either way they worked beautifully! It was a nerve-wracking delivery for me. But of gravel and side roads to get to the farm but it got there in perfect condition. Flowers, pampas grass, and bunny tails supplied by the bride. Congratulations Ally & Scott!

Inside was carrot cake with caramel and pecan filling covered in delicious cream cheese frosting.

Happy long weekend! We had a parade today at the lake so this felt like the perfect cake to post today. It's from a while back since I'm very behind on posts but this was so fun and bright! Inside was chocolate brownies with smore filling!!

HUGE DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER PLEASE!!! Burgers were chocolate cake. Buns were coconut cake with raspberry filling. Covered in coconut buttercream. I think that's all right. I made this months ago haha. Guys I'm so behind on posting. I've been making lots of things so that's where my time has been going. We are having some yummy homemade burgers for supper so I thought this would be perfect to post today.

Oh boy.... adventure awaits. This went out to a baby shower a few weeks ago. He should be making his arrival very soon! All I was told was outdoorsy and adventurous couple. And all I could see was navy and orange. Unique take on the night sky and sunset. I loved how this one came together. I just let my pallette knife do the work.
